Damn those fascist reactionary North Americans and their impure unfit-for-"socialism" North American blood.
Kim Jong Un does not approve of this reactionary anti-revolutionary rhetoric.
No. Because he is saying that democracies turn into imperialistic states. Quite a few actually did, and those who were actually were imperialistic before. Like France, Roman, UK etc were imperialistic before they turned into democracies.
um. I think the loyalists are scots.
Then again, France was a democracy that turned to imperialistic autocracy, too. Quite a few times, if I remember correctly.No. Because he is saying that democracies turn into imperialistic states. Quite a few actually did, and those who were actually were imperialistic before. Like France, Roman, UK etc were imperialistic before they turned into democracies.
Wow. And they call ME disillusioned.Sorry, but the CPGB is basically wholly discredited at this point. It's purged all but the most hard-line members from its ranks, it's intolerant toward any policy or reform effort that doesn't include armed revolution, the one government it played a role in collapsed entirely, and it has no wider relevance in the system except to consistently waste 10-20% of votes that would otherwise go toward parties that actually have a legitimate shot at forming a government. Eurocommunism was the CPGB's one shot at achieving actual mainstream relevance in the British political system and that died in fire, so you guys basically deserve to sit there in your corner and enjoy the fruits of your labor, which is never, ever having a meaningful voice in the process again.
Perhaps it is because I'm a Communist, but I'm rather tired of these 'capitalism is x' and then 'communism is y' arguments. So, shall we all just take a chill pill and be happy for a moment?

Either we ague about whether or not Communism has been discredited or we go back to having Rosa and Enewald lecture us about *shudder* monetarism for the 157th time. I for one prefer Communism.![]()
Lol, you think this is serious? Poor Stein.
Kim Jong Un does not approve of this reactionary anti-revolutionary rhetoric.
This is a photo of Kim telling the funniest joke ever.

Tell that to the hordes of Communist "lurkers" that will vote anything red and covered in Cyrillic.

Why not just take a moment away from both of those things? Lets just...Relax.

Who annexed Cuba? or the PRC? Or Vietnam? That's just one example of a republic turning imperial; almost every example of a Socialist (in the Marxian sense) state ends with it either being destroyed or it adopting capitalistic economic reforms.

Without the ability to ever form a coalition, all the Stalinists can do is deny votes to Labour and shrink the proportions gained by other parties. There's no meaningful chance of the CPGB ever forming a government, so why bother caring? British communism is, for all intents and purposes, dead as a meaningful force in politics.
And almost every example of vaguely democratic societies in history were destroyed or altered too, until about the 19th/20th centuries. I don't really support capital C Communism, pretty much for the same reasons I don't support capital C Capitalism actually since they're ridiculously naive utopic visions of an eventually perfect anarchy where everything will somehow just work out for the best(though atleast communism looks at the state of nature and says, "That's shit, we can do better" whereas capitalism looks at it and says "Meh, let's pretty much accept it..."), but pointing to the relatively tiny handful, given all of human history, of attempts to create it all of which occured agaisnt the backdrop of an existing world order extremely hostile to the idea by the way and saying "Well they didn't work, therefore in no circumstances is it ever possible for it to work" is not really the greatest of arguments.
((I too once had dreadlocks, believe it or not.))See guys? Casearpope is gettin' it! Lets just take the next couple minutes and join in on the Stein Chill Hour.
