And how can you say that it is "democracy", improve peoples living, works hard for the people and liberalizatin when you soopenly want to execute and incarnate most of your political adversaries and those with different opinions? What have I and others done to deserve that? By simply having different opinions than you? How can you support being the vanguard of the people when you want to oppress them? It is in times like these that I almost regret supporting political freedom and being against the banning of the communist party. But I guess it says more about the communists than liberals. They want to kill and enslave those with different opinions, even when they argue for their cause and existence.
Sometimes on these forums it is hard to understand whether our beloved commies are just joking around or if they actually support the annihilation of people they do not like. :wacko:

Eurocommunism has basically been buried in Britain with the Stalinists ensuring domination over the party, a shame - I find the ideology very interesting. The Lib-Lab Alliance is getting dangerously close to 45% - dropping below it would see their vote weighting drop from 4 to 3 and have a big impact on their seat tally. The Lib-Labs weren't the only people to suffer from that wave of Communist votes, the Tories have fallen back from 35% and now stand almost equally as far from 25 as from 35%. The Stalinist wave has set the Communists on course for their best ever result! Although they are unlikely to win as many seats as in 1945 (93) and would do well to beat reach their 1954 level (61) unless they breach the 25% mark, the CPGB is almost certainly heading for its highest ever share of the vote - smashing their previous best of 17.9%!

But wonder how a goverment will be. The Commies have now become die hard marxist orthodox. Now the eurocommies and democratic socialists can't cooperate with Lib-Lab. That means if the Eurocommies won they could have cooperated with the Lib-Lab. But now the Lib-Lab can't draw support from the left and need to draw support trom the right - especially if tehy get under 45%. Quite intersting indeed. This may make for some serious concessions of the Center-Left.
And maybe these things will be a catalyst for formation of new parties, or a democratic-socialist/moderate commie surge from CPGB to Labour party? So who knows, maybe a borgoise front (center and right), a social democratic front (center-left, left) and a socialist/communist bloc (hard-far left) will form?
The election would be more interesting with no pacts allowed, or with a PR system.
