Why is there such a thing? Really annoying
If I win the battle, my subjects should be satisfied and happy
Why do you still have opinions on me?
I suggest that a victorious war can reduce the x-point "offensive war" opinion penalty.

Likely because even if you win, fighting a war historically meant calling on levies (peasants) to leave their families and normal lives to go fight for a cause they likely dont really care about. Families can lose their sons in battle even if you win overall. It means calling on your subjects to provide you with food and supplies from their own lands to feed and supply your armies. Even if you end up victorious, it doesnt take away these facts, which can be seen as annoyances or unnecessary actions by the populace.
