Greetings, and I apologize for posting something here that is not of general interest, but I've been frustrated in every other attempt to bring attention to this matter.

I get email from Paradox occasionally because I used to play HOI a number of years ago. Couldn't seem to retrieve my old forum account though, so I started a new one. So I got an email from Paradox recently about your Valentines Day Sale, and being that I had been thinking of trying Crusader Kings II, this seemed like the perfect time to buy it. But when I went to do it, the sale prices had all disappeared, this in spite of the fact that the email I received indicated that the sale should be running until sometime tomorrow. This looks to me like some kind of technical snafu. If it can be corrected and I can be offered the sale price, then would someone kindly let me know? Thanks.

Most likely a Steam problem, can't say 100% though. I would try contacting Steam support as well.

Well I was on the Paradox website. Would I still be buying through Steam with that being so?

Only 5 CK2 DLCs are on sale and three of those are E-books and the other two persian unit and portrait..

Sale seems to work regarding EU4 DLCs, but that was not what the OP wanted and had been told
nor what the hompage says..

You should definitely contact Paradox support regarding your old account.

For instance if you had registeed games on your old account you won't get them on your new
account and thus no acess for their subforums.

I'm pretty sure I know what the problem is. You're in the Americas right? What fools many people from the Americans is that sales don't follow Pacific time, like steam does, but instead follows Swedish time. And they always end at midnight. Meaning that if the sale was scheduled to end at the 19th it would have ended 5 hours and 14 minutes before you posted (or it might have been if it was scheduled to end on the 18th. Not sure if those dates are including the end date or mean until that date hits Sweden.)

As an aside was I then the only one thinking, upon reading the title, that neither Victory in Europe nor Victory in Japan were in February?

At least it implies the sale is still ongoing and apparently it still is for several titles, but CK2.

I clicked away the banner long ago. Just tried logging out though to see it again and you're right that it says it ends at midnight between the 19th and 20th so should be valid around 11.5 hours more. Seems strange then. Although in the past we have seen that some titles have got increased offers on specific days during a sale so perhaps this was what OP saw?

That should be more visible, especially on the page for the sale and on the store. Man...

It doesn't even really matter what the email said the OP got. The banner and the page implies there is still a sale going on for CK2.
It can't be these four DLCs i mentioned. That would be more than misleading, but not unusal for Paradox..
Either way, should still be going.

I'm under the impression they are all off and there won't be an official response today (thus before the sale officaly ends) anyway.

Anyway it looks like a bug, though I agree that it almost certainly won't be looked at today given how today's a Sunday. A good point against having sales end on the Weekend, like often happens with PI sales. (Also in my experience PI sales are not misleading in general.)

Anyway lets try and tag @TinyWiking in the hope of him logging in at some point Sunday.

I use 1920x1080 too. And I got glasses too. In fact I'm extremely near sighted. If I take off my glasses I can't see anything of what's written on the computer screen. It's all just a blur.

Right, I see that a few of the DLC & expansion items are on sale, but not the game CK II itself. So that clears that up, unless someone else here is seeing that on sale (I'm showing $39 US for CK II, and $159 US for the CK II collection.

I'm seeing the base game at 36.99 € and the collection at 144 €. (Also bear in mind that the collection only contains all DLC from the first 2.5 years of the game.)

I have been trying to get both some CK II and some EU IV DLC taking advantage of the sale since Friday. First my credit card is refused. Then my PayPal attempt at payment fails to work. I return for a last attempt today and my PayPal seems to be working (almost magically, I made no changes on my end) but the price cuts have disappeared, despite the fact that that the Valentine's Day sale is still advertised on the site and on the featured deals section. It's weird given that it should be over at midnight on the 19th. I am currently holding off on my purchases and hoping that the good people at Paradox deal with the issue.
