Well I hate to say it but I have no idea why it won't load correctly. The only thing that comes to mind is that you don't have the no time limit mod installed but I really really doubt that would make the scenario not show up.

Reinstalling will make it work, and I got it to work just by simply replacing the files that I used with the originals. My head hurts. Just playing 'Green Fields of France' on my guitar, trying to sort things out. Sorry about going balistic. I've just been very tired recently.

I just had the most brilliant idea for a Civil War mod, see if ya understand what I'm trying to say.

Well, I was looking at flags of the war and going, "Wow, wouldn't it be neat if I could have individual units with their own flag (such as the Irish Brigade's green)..." and then I thought, "Hey, they could just be their own nation!"

Yes, a nation with military access in the United States. It's government would be made up of the unit's officers or staff. Por ejemplo, if you play as the US, you have military control over all the other 'nations' while if you play as say the Army of Northern Virginia, you have military control over whatever made up the army. The whole idea is rather than commanding the entire war effort, one commands small groups which could go from the Army of the Potomac all the way down to the Iron Brigade. I know this may sound confusing, but it's a cool idea that I hope to try after I'm done with this mod.

okay, expect an update from me today. I've discovered a quicker way to do sprites and I'm not taking them from another game... it's actually quicker to hand draw them!

Might I request one little thing.. make Britain pink/red as historically she always was and is, instead of that nondescript beige.

I think brigade level would be a good idea, as you could form brigades into divisions/corps rather than corps/armies as in standard HoI.

Well I personally HATE that British color, but assuming you don't have one of those little downloads to change nation color (I can't even remember which one Im using) then it won't be a problem as I didn't include the new colors in the download.

Brigade level is something that very well might be introduced at a later release but for now I am just using regular HoI2 style sizes.

I'm not even a patriot, it's just historical (and better than yet another nodescript beige.)

sounds great!

I look forward to seeing the brigades in the game and I think this would work better with ArnhemKnight's idea of individualized flags though perhaps it could be state by state - we are talking essentially about the question of 'state's rights!' - so New York troops would have the New York flag and Stonewall's VA brigade would have the Virginia flag.

By the way, another idea for attachable brigades - sharpshooters brigade (or is that in already).
