Seeing at how the country reacts with only a few casulaties the people already ready to get rid of the president. I think with every 100 or so casulaties there should be a dissendent rise what do you think?
That's a good idea for democratic nations, but in HOI I don't think there is a way to see casualties.

Ju;y 4th event

Well, here's something for the U.S.

Country: United States
Date: July 4th (all years)
Trigger: New York, Boston, Philidelphia, Washington DC are controlled.
Description: People around the nation are celebrating the signing of the Declaration of Independance over 200 years ago! Patriotism has risen to new heights!

Option 1: Long Live America!
Dissent lowered by -5.
Manpower raised by 5.
Supplies lowered by -200.
War entry raised by 3.

(the description needs some work, probably.)

I like the idea but how about if continental U.S. territory when invaded an event like U.S. invaded for first time since 1916 people rally around government and the basic people needs drop by 300 points and people start to join the army in droves increase in manpower by 1000 and 50% more monthly and industral increases in all major cities

or it could go the other way
Option #2
U.S. invaded first time since 1916 mass hysteria
dissent+10%
manpower up 300
industrial capcity in major cities gone (like a strategic bombing to show how people wouldnt go to work thinking the nation is doomed) slowly going back up to normal change in president also or impeachment by congress.

I can see both happening.

If foreign troops land on American soil, a few things should probably happen:

- Definite increase in manpower
- Add militia divisions to numerous provinces (these would be your average Joes taking up arms)
- Dissent increase
- Industrial shift (kind of like the Russian Move Industries to Siberia)
- Fortification of coasts and cities
- If enemy troops are near, movement of the capital to somewhere else (not sure where, though)
- If a large number of national provinces have been lost, then there should be a leader change, or possibly even a revolution.

I'm going to code all these things and post in the main events thread, as well as revolution event, because I think America needs one. Let me know what you think of the other specifics.

Yes, that's me. Unfortunately, the picture doesn't do any justice to my good side.

I like your thinking but i would say that movement of industrial capcity a minimum b/c the U.S.A. isnt step up like the soviet union was and the government doesnt control private industries.

Decrease in infrastructure around where ever the enemy was to show how civilians would flee to the next big city and causr traffic jams
