[CCA]

The Union of Soviet Central America(USCA) had a great beginning, a drop in coffee prices at the beginning led to a full scale takeover by Populist/Left-Wing parties. The "Red Menace" spread to the neigboring central American coutries as military juntas and corrupt democracies fell to the Central American Liberation Army. By the end of 1933 Central America was Communist. The government redistributed land and nationalized Industry but left small businesses alone.
By 1936 a government had been formed:
An emergency government was headed by members of the El Salvadorian Communist Party:

The Spanish Civil War-Central American Intervention
When the Spanish Civil War broke out in July 13 1936:

the Union of Soviet Central America immediately pledged support for their comrades in Spain without consulting the Comintern or the USSR. It was the only country in the world to send it's entire armed services: Army, Navy and Airforce to fight for a foreign cause.

The Central American Peoples Airforce, consisting of I-16's bought from the Soviet Union were sent almost immediatley:

At first, it seemed like an empty gesture since the USCA navy was non-existant. The problem was solved by buying obsolete steamer ships from America at almost throwaway prices, the catch?

The Central American Army had to incorporate the men of the American volunteer forces such as the Lincoln Brigade and the George Washington Battalion into the Central American Army and transport them to Spain and lead them. The condition was agreed to and the Socialist American Army as the force was renamed set sail for Spain on August 13 1936:

Military Access is your friend here. I'm not allied to them but i declared war on Nat Spain, th only problem is that my army can only really act in a defensive fashion because if i take territory it gpoes to me

We arrived at Malaga this morning, we have yet to receive orders so I attended to my platoon. My platoon is composed of mixed elements of the Mexican and American Communist parties, they are full of revolutionary zeal but lack basic firearms training. With any luck they should learn quickly.
September 19 1936
We have been transfered from Malaga to Valencia. We actually have orders from our high command now. We are to proceed to Madrid and hold the city and await further orders, I don't like the odds of this one but I haven't seen a single Fascist aircraft in the sky, all of them seem to be ours.
