Are you making any plans for if Belgium should fall?

Not really, I'm not sure there's a lot I can do. I could play resistance or take over another communist country but I'm not sure yet.

Part IX: Brussels

I decided to stop the Germans bombing me again. My airforce did rather well.

Unfortunately, the battle of Brussels had begun and that was particularly a big issue.

I threw in some more forces, only to be hit again by a new German attack. They were planning to encircle the city.

I managed to win that battle, whilst the retreating French cowered back to the Maginot line or somewhere.

I continued to push forces into Brussels, but the Germans were far too strong.

And finally, Belgian had fallen. It was time to gather my forces and send them to France.

That stays in Belgian hands. You become a government in exile in Britain, with limited options until your homeland is liberated by an ally.

I may have accidentally deleted my save games and only realised afterwards, so sorry I haven't been updating any of my AARs guys. Silly me had no recent backup. That's really annoying
Any way to recover deleted files?
I doubt I'll be able to do my other two AARs, though I can still finish what remains here and just start a new one I suppose

Thanks to far sighted Belgian foreign policy, the Congo is a desolate, underdeveloped wasteland with very few war making resources. A Belgian government in exile cannot really "keep fighting out of Africa".
