A Strong Offense for Defense​

The war with the Communist leader is massive and is not contained in Europe, instead it continues to spread to the Middle East with the Soviets stepping up their efforts to annex Persia. As has been stated before, a collapse of the Allied lines and Persian annexation would be an utter disaster and could perhaps award ultimate victory to the Commintern- the front is that important. Thus Persia must be defended at all costs, with British divisions in India being redeployed to Persia and all Iraqi divisions being sent to Persia along with French and Israeli divisions also we hope to stem the Soviet advance but not just stem it, turn it into an advance of our own.

At one point Persia controlled Baku and this was a massive coup for the Allies and Persia- we intend on getting it back. It has thus been decided in order to defend Persia and begin advancing into Soviet territories we shall cease sending more divisions to the European front and instead send armies to Israel where they shall march to Persia and aid Allied forces in the region. We hope to eventually have enough British divisions in the region to secure Persia and begin an offensive, hopefully the French shall bring their furious aggression used in Eastern Europe and aid us. As of now there are three divisions in Britain being marched to the coast to board transports, the order shall be to change the original plans and send them to the Middle East- they will of course be escorted by the Royal Navy including some of our advanced Submarines.

Communism Closes on Tehran​

The Soviets have reinforced their divisions in the region and are closing on Tehran, the capital cannot be allowed to fall and it is clear things look bleak for the city.




The Soviet Attack on Tehran is Intercepted


Despite a victorious battle it did not deter the Soviets for long and they were victorious in a second assault on Tehran- the sooner further Allied troops arrive the better as we are outnumbered and on the back foot.

Im going to transport three divisions from Britain to Israel, India too is being drained of its infantry divisions- i need to protect Persia.

If India's a core provincec, I think they're should be some type of bridge. I don't really see how that's cheating, Since you have "Indian" Divisions. I doubt english and scotts would join the army to be in an Indian division.

Fortress Europe?​

Europe is mostly under Allied control and it must remain that way, to the north we have the Soviets to keep out of Europe and the Middle East, we are entrusting the defence of mainland Europe to Italy, France and Germany as our own troops are at the front lines.

The Persian front continues to worsen and we suffered another defeat this time in Rasht.



A Massive Soviet Force Marching Into Persia


As you are aware we have decided to reroute divisions that would have gone to the Soviet front to Persia instead, as we prepared we noticed a shocking invasion that we had not noticed.




Portugal Invaded by the United States


Clearly this is disastrous news and we decided to immediatly send twelve of our advanced submarines [two fleets] to the coast of Portugal- the Americans may have landed but we would do our utmost to ensure they would not leave.
This landing showed the growing confidence and ability of the United States and it cannot go unanswered, it was decided that Persia would have to wait and so the fleet destined for Israel would stop at Portugal with our divisions landing in Lissabon, from there we would launch an assault on the trapped American troops in the north before swinging south- Portugal was one of the first nations to join the Allies and she must be defended.




The Attack Begins


The attack on Oporto took place after a brief spell of organizing our troops and there was a brief stalemate between our forces until we were delighted to see the troops pf Portugal sprung into action and aided us in overwhelming and capturing the US troops, we ordered our troops to halt and allow our Allies troops to retake their own land while we prepare to surge south and break the American tanks in Evora.

Europe​

Our front with the Soviets in Europe has continued to go quite well, with numerous battles being won. Our first assault was on Lununiec and we were rewarded with a swift victory, this was after being attacked ourselves.

Next we attacked Grodno, the good weather allowed us to swiftly defeat the Soviet defenders. Our Mechanized force arrived first and we used this to our advantage by pushing further into Soviet territory and capturing Wilno.

You've reaserched Rocket Birgades? Are they worth it? I never realy seen any use for them, except flavor.

Looks like your pushing good into Soviet. I would also suggest withdrawling from Persia and make a bottleneck in Iraq. I believe there is a one providence crossing there, not sure. But that would free up a lot of divisions for Europe, or the Atlantic.

Rocket brigades are cheaper if memory serves.


Hmm boom, you suggest withdrawing from Persia? I would hate to lose and Ally and those oil reserves falling into Soviet hands would be a nightmare. Right now we have a sort of bottleneck in Persia, if she were to fall they would have numerous fronts to attack and would no doubt fill Persia with troops. I am hoping on French aid to save Persia and perhaps push the Communists back.

You were right! Did'nt the new patch make the USA AI far more liekly to stage landings? A strange place for one though, although i suppose you could argue that it may be very clever- they could use it as a staging ground for an invasion of central Europe.

I will have to make sure i do although it will be tough- i dont like the look of those tanks, Portugal had to aid me in the north[although i was pleasantly surprised when they did- they actually realised helping me would work]
They were one of the first nations i got to join [or were they THE first?], once the USA is pushed back by subs will stay guarding the coast.

I intend on going as far as i can, a few updates ag i showed a map with an objective to reach so i am still aiming for that then Poland will be liberated.
A complete victory may be too ambitious but i am not going to sit back, my tactic of taking opportunites when they show has worked and continues to do so, i dont want to invite them onto me- they must be kept on the backfoot even if it is a small advance here and there.
