Building The New
It may take longer to free the peoples of Italy and Germany than we had hoped. Despite more advances into German held territory we are being slowed down and it is obvious that some provinces are going to require a massive effort to capture. Also Northern Italy is proving to be equally tough not only to capture the fortified provinces on the French border but to capture Milan aswell. Our plan had been to capture Milan in order to trap the German defenders in their fortifications on the French border thus cutting off their supplies and capturing the divisions however it would seem the Germans are aware of this and have a large force stationed in Milan.
We are confident of capturing Milan however it is becoming apparent that the Communist forces are falling into our massive pincer movement and thus the concentration of troops is increasing, slowing our advance. This is frustrating as both Italy and Germany are almost ready to recieve new Democratic governments and we will strive to ensure this happens as soon as possible.
The Federal Republic Of Germany
The plan for the DDR has been scrapped after learning that members of the chosen few selected to lead the new Germany have significant Communist leanings. This cannot be tolerated and so to ensure the German people recieve a truly Democratic government the DDR has been disolved and will be replaced by The Federal Republic of Germany.
The men chosen have sworn to rebuild Germany with Allied aid, to bring peace and prosperity to Germany and allow her people to live in freedom and without fear. Before this new dawn for Germany can be ushered in Munich, the last major bastion of resistence from the Communists must fall along with the provinces mentioned in the last update.
The uncrowned leaders of the new Germany have chosen the flag and motto to represent their vision for the new Germany. We shall use it ourselves to drive our troops forward to ensure the hopes of the German people are achieved.

We pushed on in North East Germany to rebuild the old German/Polish border, Stettin, Kustrin, Breslau and Oppeln were our targets.

With the fall of Oppeln this marked our victory in the East, now we would have to break the Siegfried line and march onward to Munich. Despite being able to capture Friedrichshafen we were constantly unable to hold it, we decided the south needed a General to take charge and we nominated General Loyd. An army of three divisions was marched from the same province as General O'Connor to Stettin, once there Gneral Loyds troops were Strategicaly Redeployed to the south. Will Loyd be able to lead Britain to the birth of a new Germany?

They are all over Germany! The last time i checked they were at 250 infantry divisions. I am having to fight through a good number of Soviet divisions although they are not as numerous as the German forces i think.
Excellent work! I really did think Italy would be released first though, as it is smaller, and the front would only be Trento and Venice. Good luck, and continue that push. Southern Germany/Austria/Northern Italy look like they have SERIOUS potential for a massive pocket.

Im pleased by the seeming potential for a huge encirclement, the only problem is with that comes a huge concentration in such a small area and needless to say i am badly outnumbered.
Both Italy and Germany only have a few provinces to go before being released. Then Austria, Poland, Czech and Slovakia!
Good work!! Just restore the borders of old Germany (Freibrug, Freidrichshaften and Munich) and release the FDR.
Then aim for Austria and create that massive pocket! That would capture a singnificant portion of the German Army. As long as you hold the northern provinces so they don't break out, then you could destroy them all.

I'm a little surprised to see the yugoslavs still hold. And your still advancing steadily. As for the French, I guess they are more moral supporters than active military allies :rofl:
