Here is a little something I threw together using late game compositions. BBs are powerful but they are kinda slow. Generally I prefer cruisers except vs the late game crisis and maybe an AFE. This fleet however trashed a FE and AFE.

2 Titans
Both titans are basically the same except they have different auras. 2 KA+4 Neuton launchers. 1 aura is repair nanite the other is bonus to hit. Both titats have X3 afterburners for the speed.

Cruisers.
You add a pile of cruisers to this as they have a similar speed to the titans. You have 2 designs for the cruisers. 2/3rd of the fleet is this design.

Torpedo Cruisers.
3 Torpedos, 6 small weapons- 3 autocannons+3 plasma

1/3rd of the fleet is pure kinetics.
2 Kinetic Artillery
1 Gauss Gun
X2 Autocannons

All cruisers have X1 afterburners. They well travel at 318 while the titans can make it to 287 so there is not a massive difference in the speed. The titans buff the to hit of the cruisers and repair them as well with auras.

The missiles avoid shields and kinetics wear them down. Once shields are down the autocannons+plasma+titan neutron launchers tend to make short work.

Not sure how this fleet would work against the crisis, but its more for getting around the map fast, operating independently and mopping up the AI. The cruisers have worked alright vs a FE but have not tested them vs an AFE except where I had overwhelming numbers. Losses are very low the speed is great. I still use BBs of course butthis sees to work very well.

What's turbo about this?
The fleet is only marginally faster than a pure battleship fleet of equivalent tech, owing to the titan's extra afterburner.
Would you consider battleships "turbo"?

Sometimes I roll a little 10K (scaling into endgame) DD/Corvette stack to clean up long lines of starbases and so forth. Very useful in total war. The destroyers add some soak, you don't have to replenish five corvettes every time you hit a fort.

In my current game I ran around with battleship fleets (for serious threats), and cruiser fleets (for mopup). With tier 5 drives, two tier 2 afterburners, and the correct war doctrine my cruisers had 399 speed. While that sounds pretty fast (I'm sure I could make corvettes faster though), it would have been a lot more fun to watch if the endgame wasn't so laggy.
