People keep flipping between Victoria 3 and EU: Rome 2. But the answer is so obvious, esp. when considering that the hints tease at both. It is because it is both!

Just like how EU: Rome was a spin-off of EU, this game will be a spin-off of Victoria. It will be titled Victoria: SPQR. Done. Solved it. I'll be expecting praise when this gets confirmed at PDX-Con.

"Play as the British Empire time displaced into the 400s BC."

Victorians did love pretending to be Romans after all. The gaudy neoclassical architecture, the pretentious obsession with "the classics", the overbearing arrogance, the endless imperial wars...

But what if it is something like that, a giant long spanned game that starts during the early roman republic and goes all the bloody way to victoria era. i would pay 100 dollars for just 1% fo that

Nah...

It's easy to spell...

Surströmming Tycoon... it'll make you say "Oh God" when you open the game...

It'd never handle it, just in the mechanical problems a game like that would have, trying to simulate all the different eras. Not to mention all the dead character bloat. :(
