Hitler looked at his map and smiled. Moscow would be his in a few hours. He had done it. He did the impossible. He drove the Allies into the sea and smashed the Red Hammer. He had won. Pulling the ciggarette from his mouth, he thrust it down upon Moscow.
Suddenly Herman Goring came in.
"Mein Furhrer, the 12 new Junkers 390s are ready."
Hitler smiled. "Send them to London with their 'special cargo'. After they drop it, send this letter to whoever is alive in the wake of the bombs." He meant the 4 nuclear bombs, "Also, give this to Werner Heisenberg. He is a Hero of the Reich. I shall present this to him next Tuesday."
"Jawoh. Heil Hitler!"
Goring walked out with the biggest smile ever.
Hitler, looking at one of his leuitenants said, "Get this message to the USA. I wish to allow them to sue for peace."
***Moscow, August 29th, 1947, Red Square***
"HOLD THEM COMERADES!!!!!!" a commissar roared. The Germans were launching an all out assault on the Kremlin. Stalin, depressed and broken, opted to die in the Kremlin, rather than run. He had his T33 loaded.
"How much longer?" he asked a colonel.
"I still don't know if it will work. It will be done by nightfall though," the colonel sadly said, "perhaps it can turn the tide if it does work."
"The tide won't exist yet remember," Stalin said.
In a building on the outer permimeter, Sergeant Kamarov and Corporal Septovich led the remains on an entire company. 47 men were left and they only had a few bullets left. Brutally they fought on and soon Katusha rockets rained down on the German attackers, smashing the attack.
"This is my last drum," Kamarov said.
"I have a Mauser with 10 bullets," said Septovich, "We can't hold off another attack! We must regroup!"
Aware of the project, Kamarov said blankly, "We're trying to buy time, not win. There's no way Moscow will hold. But it doesn't have to. We have to hold the Kremlin until night."
"WHY?"
Kamarov didn't answer.
***Later, around dusk***
"Is your Batalion ready?" Colonel Schlieder asked.
"We will take the Kremlin," Major Hother said.
"Get ready."
A whistle blew and 30 panthers along with 1000 infantry rushed the Kremlin from the east. 18 tigers with 800 men attacked from the north and west. Another 21 panthers with 800 men came from the south. The Russian defenders stood no chance. Kamarov and his men were wiped out. 400 men with 15 anti-tank guns desperately tried to keep the Germans out of the Kremlin. They were slaughtered and the Germans started to break in. Suddenly, a giant glow of light radiated in all directions from the top of the Kremlin. All fighting stopped as everyone was staring with awe at the light. It was only like that for a few seconds when a massive amount of wind blew at it from every direction and finally, a massive, blinding explosion erupted and everything went white. There was nothing. Just whiteness.
Stalin woke up bright and early. There were no signs of a war in Moscow. Just its rich and long history, its many people, and glorious Kremlin.
Marshall Zhukov walked in. "Shall we commence Operation Bagration?"
Stalin smiled. "Yes."
***Germany***
"This isn't good," Manstein said, "They're launching an all out offensive in Belarus. Armee Gruppe Centre might be destroyed! We must pull back!"
"No," Hitler said, "Give no ground!"
A man looking just like Hitler walked in. Too suprised to react, Hitler stood there and was shot in the forehead, killing him immediately.
"Let's get to work. It's still June. We still have a long way to Moscow."
He grabbed a newpaper.
