It was not my firewall. It was my connection or the effects of to switch off the firewall (when I activate the firewall again and run an antivirus software I "only" detect 719 spyware infected files... (being only 2-3 hours without firewall I believe that it can be a little Guiness record))
Well whatever it was I hope you will have it fixed before next session, not that your sub was bad. After all I do believe he upheld you order of allowing no conversions in N-Africa. Thats alot of Spyware, better stop browsing those X-rated sites.

I blame your crazy GFX
And yes the scene you described above is usually typical of the middle game, where no side has a clear leader or tech advantage and most of the territorial ambitions have been satisfied.
You may also notice that about 1/2 of all wars in the game so far have centred around me in Brandenburg is some way, now that I have moved country...
Well as soon as this England gets to a decent tech level and slightly lowered inflation I will attempt to attack someone for your amusement
Why are you winking me, its just EGUFSM 1.1 . Can it cause any incompatability issues, if so I have never heard of any. If its just because Star Blade should have known what GFX it is, then forget I brought it up.
Just like to point out that 1/2 the wars have not centered about you, I have fought just as many conflicts as you. They were certainly not as die-hard as yours

, but non the less just as many. Once again the numbers will prove me right.
If you thinking of amusing me by coming after me, I'd think you have more pressing matter to attend to elsewhere. I have seen some disturbing settlers leaving Amsterdam that would indicate that your integrity in N-America has been compromised. Besides As England you might have kick ass leaders, but you barely have more MP than you had as Brandenburg.

Austria did what I do best, namely hyperteching . I'm sorry if I make the game stagnate a bit, its just that I'm reluctant to attack OE with the stupid mughals funding them and if necessary joining in . As it stands now they are just a pool for extra MP, money and troops for OE. I really hope Pibe will spice things up soon and attacks OE or something. If he does that, I will not intervene .
Btw, Austria now has higher income then Spain. Perhaps I should fund you Engel?
It certainly wasn't my intention do start any finger-pointing. It was more just an observation that the good Doctor has already answered. Besides I have been just as guilty of refraining from a hard conflict as anyone else. I still have OE to attend to, they simply occupy far too much of what should be my southern provinces.

o Of course the love affair between OE and Mughals hasn't been reassuring, but those are just poor excuses.

Russia is trying to fight Poland but the two countries are stalemated, and now they have realised this are not willing to fight again because they have enemies on either side (austria, BB for Poland and ottos and Sweden for Russia) who can deliver a crushing attack against one of the war exhausted provinces.
Thoughts?
I'd just like to point it out too you that there is absolutly no stalemate between me and Poland and that I have realised nothing at all. Poland should be just a rather large duchie in the kingdom of Russia. So it should be, so it shall be. I have already fought Sweden on 5 occasions and while he has shown himself as a most worthy and resourcfull foe, I'm not in anyway frightened by any imminent invasion from Sweden. Of course OE is a different matter, he has already shown himself too be far too dangerous and very willing to take any oppurtunity that presents itself to enlargen his own domain.

Of course that would apply to any of us, but since he has more than enough power to actually carry out the threat makes things different
Other than that I just hope we will continue too have fun, I'm learning alot. Of course there have been a couple of times where I should have done better and maybe differently, but overall I'm very much enjoying this session.
