No way in hell is that possible. Three mountains is insanely difficult, watch ddrjake do it, he used every trick in the book including one of the biggest exploits ever and it took him much much longer than that. Dont believe it for a second.

You probably watched him do his own insanely difficult version without westernizing, without using HRE, and staying pagan.

There are much, much easier ways to do it.

How can I check that?

If you look at the achievement page at steam, all unlocked achievements have a text on the right side saying something like "Unlocked: 16 Nov @ 8:27pm"

I know it is possible for 2-3 hours but wouldn't surprise me if the newer most expensive rigs could pull it off in under one.

My dear computer runs all current gen games on high settings with decent FPS but I think it is not strong enough to do that faster than in 12 hours.

All you say makes me think he used his intelligence - as you said he is very intelligent - to hack steam achievements in some impressive way, because as virtually everyone in this thread says, conquering 3000 provinces as Ryukyu in 12 hours is simply physically impossible even for DDRJake, not to mention some random 13 - year old boy.


...unless he is genius of strategy armed with top supercomputer, well in this case he should crack mathematic problems instead of games O_O

For playing 1444-1821, 12 hours would mean (12*3600)/(12*377) = 9.55 seconds per game month.
Assuming a pretty early 1700 victory, it goes up a bit to (12*3600)/(12*256) = 14.06 seconds per game month.

That's like speed 3-4 without ever pausing, right?
What's your average play seconds/game month, TMIT?

I've got almost 2000 hours in this game and I havn't even got WC yet let alone 3 mountains, sure I'm not the best player but for a 13 year old beginner I just don't believe it.

I remember my first ~20-30 hours when I watched tutorials and played with console cheats before I learned everything about attrition, FL, BT, manpower, MP and policies, coalitions and even truce timers. No way it's possible to make any single empire in first 12 hours, to say nothing of WC.

I'm 99.9% certain he used a hack. One way to find out... check the times where all the different achievements were completed. If it was a legit playthrough they should be spaced out somewhat over the 12 hours. If they were hacked, they were probably completed at almost the exact same time, unless he really worked to cover his tracks.

I had a bet with a 13 year old friend of mine to get the Three Mountains Achievement.

He got the achievement. Hell, maybe he thought the whole idea was just to get it for the bling who cares how, and didn't even think the OP would care if it was done legit or not until he realized that his free game was on the line if he cheated.

I know if 13 year old me was given the same bet, I'd demand payment either way!
