2 March 2004
We are going on a special training mission with the new marine regiment. Wooden bunkers shooting rubber bullets and barbed wires are constructed on a beach nearby. Our order is to take that beach. "We are closing in to the beach, all men to battle stations! Man the guns!", the captain said trough the speakers. As one the sailors start to man their positions, I was in a gunner on one of the six 30mm AK-630 AD guns, and I was ordered to support fire to the landing forces. The 6 stands for 6 barrels, and the 30 from 30mm. The weapon is a soviet one.
I saw the marines going into their boats and landing on the beach, machine gun fire was firing from one of the bunkers, and I aimed at a machine gun behind some sand bags. The training was intense. Of course the glorious marines succeeded in clearing the beach!

Mobilization order was been given for operation Spring Awakening against the Belarus. Why against the Belarus???? Now we have again no action! The operation was planned for 31 March , here is an overview of the battle plan:
1 April 2004
According the the radio the fortified city if Homel was taken, Belorussian units where spotted by our plans far inland, but they are not with much. This should be an easy victory. The next days more news came, and no Belorussian counter attacks where made, we just crushed them! On 13 April they where annexed by the glorious republic of Ukraine! Just after 14 days! Hurray!
4 May 2004
It was clear our expansion wasn't done yet, Operation Spring Feast, the invasion of Romania was been launched. We will see action against the Romanian fleet, and we need to support a landing of the Marines in the Constanta region. I am very exited, my first war to fight! The Romanian fleet is only a bit weaker then ours, but I have fate in my comrades!
5 May 2004
"All men to battle station, Romanian fleet on 4 O'clock!". Yes! My first real fight, I was eager to fight when I manned my gun. The Romanian fleet was a fleet of Corvettes. The Frigate Mărăşeşti leaded the Romanian attack, we where prepared for the fight! The Mărăşeşti was the flagship of their navy, it came sailing towards us! It was better armed however then the Lutsk. P-20M (SS-N-2) anti-ship missiles where launched from the P-20M (SS-N-2) anti-ship missiles at our ship. "Full speed back!", The captain screamed. We were hit full at our front, the bridge was destroyed, and heavy damage was done to the rest of the ship. I was lucky I wasn't hit, around 10 men where now dead. "A torpedo!", Sasha, another sailor, screamed. It looks like the Mărăşeşti was armed with torpedo's. We only just escaped from the Mărăşeşti. Then the Romanians retreated, resulting in heavy damage for them. No ships where sunk, and we won! The reason or this was that 3 corvettes and 1 frigate arrived to the battle, giving us bigger numbers. They putted up a hell of a fight, with amazing tactical manouvers. It was very strange they managed to escape, without any ships lost!

The Romanian ships where sailing out again. But this time they where driven back into their harbor very fast, 2 ships where sunk. Only patrol boats! And I didn't sunk them, the other corvettes shoot them off because our damage. At 23:00 blast where heard from the harbor, the Romanians destroyed their fleet! Not good, now we have no new ships... One hour later Romania surrender, following the surrender of Moldavia 3 days ago. Victory! We received holiday for two months, I will go home, to Kyiv.
