My first war under LeGuin. My neighbours, spiritual pacifists, with who I have, along with another species, a long term defence pact, had was declared upon them by some greedy capitalist corporate state.
So I send my fleet, expecting the war to progress while I get to somewhere near the border. I arrive and the aggressor's war exhaustion is higher than ours. But there has been no fighting. They have not attacked my ally, my ally has not attacked them. Not had our other ally, honourbound warriors, opened up a 'second front'. A couple of useful technologies are developed and I send my fleet home to upgrade.
They go. They return. War exhaustion ticks up and there is no fighting. Will nothing happen unless I initiate something ?
