Chapter 4 - No More Isolationism
August 4th, 1941.

August 2nd, 1941

AUSS Francis Scott Key, Atlantic Ocean, English Channel.

The AUSS Francis Scott Key was an AUSS Battleship escorting tons of American Supplies to the Kaiserreich after President Huey Long announced his 'Lend-Lease' Program to the world. It was a program to lend military aid to countries who were to be vital in the defense of the American Union State and it's people. The first nation American partnered up with were the nations of the Atlanta Pact (Quebec, Mexico, Iceland, and Venezuela) but as the war in Europe raged on, Huey Long openly defied the long standing American policy of Isolationism. It was a growing movement in the American Union State, and President Huey Long hated it. "Look how good Isolationism has served America?" President Huey Long asked rhetorically. Huey Long started sending Lend-Lease to the Kaiserreich after Berlin fell, and to the former enemy of the Australasian Confederation. The AUSS FSK Crew were now about to reach the English Channel, a very dangerous place since the Second Weltkrieg started. Nonetheless the ship and it's convoys moved forward, not expecting anything bad to happen. When the AUSS Francis Scott Key entered the channel, everything seemed fine, until they saw the Republican Navy of the Union of Britain move toward them. The British Aircraft Carriers started launching the Republican Air Force, it was as if they were going to fire on the ship and the convoy. On the eleventh hour of August 2nd, the Union of Britain launched an attack on the American Union State Atlantic Navy, declaring war on the nation. It seemed unreal, but now, since Syndicalists were now threatening the American Union State directly, isolationist America was truly gone. As the AUSS Francis Scott Key was destroyed, with the Americans on the ship slaughtered, it was now total war. The Second Weltkrieg was now knocking at America's doorstep, not even a year after America had been reunified. The AUS Congress declared war on the Internationale, and August 2nd would be known to the world as the Day of Infamy. Not even a day later, the Empire of Japan declared war on the American Union State after a suprise attack on the newly gained naval base of Pearl Harbor, decimating ships stationed there, killing native Hawaiians, and the Japs even bombed ports in Alaska Commonwealth. America now had two enemies, on two continents, bent on her destruction. It was unfair, for America's enemies...

July 5th, 1940, the rebellious peoples of New England with the support of Canada and the rest of the Entente Powers gave their response to President Huey Long and his ultimatum. We Refuse!: The news reached Washington D.C. immediately, and for the first time ever, the American Union State was risking war with a World Power, the alliance of the Entente. If Long backed down, it would not only ruin his image but America would slide in the hole in which caused the Second American Revolution, action was needed. President Huey Long responded to New England with: Then It Is War! : The American Union State was now at war with Canada and New England, both of which had been a nuisance to the AUS ever since it's birth. The word Isolationism was finally on it's way out of the American Vocabulary. Immediately, AUS Troops poured over the American-Canadian border unopposed due to Canada being largely undefended, most Canadian Troops were fighting in Australasia or North Africa. As a result, the American Union State was getting dangerously close to Ottawa, and no one was stopping them besides a few angry partisans.

As the month of July passed, American Union State Forces were utterly decimating the Canadian and New England Countryside, and a new offensive by the American Union State was now threatening to split Canada in half. The Entente were in a tough position, but secretly National France knew that the war was going to be American Union State Victory, and that Canada would be lost, severely crippling the Entente's plans for the wars against the Internationale and the Greater East Asian Co-Prosperity Sphere. But, in Canada, the government refused to surrender and give up, at least right now anyway. The Canadian Military Reserve was called into action, and overseas Canadian forces were reluctantly leaving their positions in order to save their homelands, and act that would end up being in vain. On the Nineteenth of July 1940, the capital of New England fell to the forces of the American Eagle. Ireland took in many Irish-American Refugees who had built their lives in New England, now it was all crumbling down beneath them. New England's war was effectively about to be over, their last stronghold was Concord, and ironically it would be the British who would defend it against the invading American Armies. The New England Government however, unlike it's military, was already making preparations to flee to Canada, where from there they would hopefully be evacuated to Ireland. The United States Government in Exile was also in a very desperate situation. It was either flee with the Entente when the inevitable end came for Canada, if the Entente still cared about them anyway, or be prosecuted and sentenced to a horrible fate by the American Union State Supreme Court. The US Government was very uneasy about how Fritz Kuhn killed every member of the Pacific States Government, but with Kuhn gone after his failed attempt to assassinate President Huey Long, the US Government might receive a more justified sentence. The Democratic Icelandic Government in Exile was too preparing to flee Canada, but the Icelandic Government wanted to get away from war and they just wanted to live in peace, so a soon as Ottawa fell, the Icelandic Government in Exile fled to Norway.

Just a day after New England's capital city of Boston fell into the hands of the American Union State, Army Group 3 under the command of AUS Hero General Patton, a legendary general who has now fought four enemies, the United States of America, the Combined Syndicates of America, the Pacific States of America, and Syndicalist Mexico, was now leading the attack on the capital of Canada. Ottawa was now under siege. After Ottawa fell to American Union State Troops who then burned down the city in an act of revenge to boost morale, the New English Government surrendered and accepted President Huey Long's irresistible proposal of annexation. The New English Government fled North America for Ireland in a secret submarine the country managed to create. The sub got them to safety across the Atlantic to Ireland, but their troubles would't end there. Constant terror boming by the Republican Air Force was decimating the country. The New English Government in Exile would meet these threats, and some would perish. However, Ireland refused to give up in their fight to stave off the Syndicalist Menace, and should war with the Internationale reach American Shores, Ireland would most definitely be a very good ally. After Ottawa fell, and after New England capitulated, King Edward VIII and the House of Lords, the British Government in Exile, knew that Canada was lost, and they prepared to evacuate the country. From the heavily defended port of Halifax, the Royal Family of Great Britannia fled North America on board the HMS Rodney to North Africa, National France. From there, they would go through Suez, and reach their final destination, Sydney, Australasia. There were few threats, like the Republican Navy and the Imperial Japanese Navy, but seeing as they were protected by what remained of the Royal Navy, their chances were pretty high. A week after their departure, the Royal Family arrived safely in the Australasian Confederation, the new capital of the British Empire.

Ottawa had fallen and the American Union State was pushing ever closer to his temporary home in Halifax. He needed to go or who knows what President Huey Long would have done with him.

After Canada collapsed, things heated up in Asia and in the Entente. The British Empire was in turmoil again, first when the Home Isles had been taken by the Syndicalist Revolutionaries who created the Union of Britain, now when Canada, the place the British tried to build up collapsed after they tried to test their might against the American Giant. The British Empire's Imperial Services that the rest of the empire (South Africa, Australasian Confederation, and the Caribbean Federation, Delhi was more of a client state seeing as they were not apart of the Entente) completely collapsed after Canada was annexed into the American Union State. You see, Canada hosted all these organizations that greatly benefited the rest of the British Empire, and when you destroy something from the source, everything collapses. The ISAC, and the RAAC, both British Colonial Organizations that were created to help the rest of the crumbling empire, when the American Union State captured important people who were leading the organization, the British Empire officially ended these programs, causing much dissent in the Australasian Confederation. In Asia, after being beaten to shreds by the Kaiserreich, Thailand rejoined the Greater East Asian Co-Prosperity Sphere and launched another war against Germany in South East Asia. When Japan and Thailand were beaten by German Colonial Troops in Bangkok, which forced Thailand to surrender, Japan had been trying to get Thailand back into their alliance. Since their defeat, Thailand changed it's name to Siam, and were in secret talks with the Japanese Emperor. It was decided that Siam would rejoin Japan in their war against the West, and this time they were promised the whole of Indochina except Singapore which was to become a Japanese Colony in South East Asia. Siam then changed its name back from Siam to Thailand, and entered the war against Germany. When the news from Deutsche Indochina reached the German Pacific High Command, which gave the information to the Kaiser, let's just say he was more than furious. He had spared Thailand from being incorporated into Deutsche Indochina, which would have made Japan the only nation not colonized by Europeans. His generosity only earned him a dagger in the back, just like when he was generous in not destroying the new Commune of France in 1919, which now threatened the whole of Europe. Relations between Japan and Germany were now at an all time low, if they weren't already before. In America, the war in the Americas had been won, at least in North America anyway. Iceland was liberated from Canadian Occupation, and a new government was established on the island. The new Republic of Iceland was lead by a group of Icelandic-Americans who fled Iceland after the Syndicalist Coup due to them being outspoken supporters of Capitalism. When they returned home, they had to deal with internal dissent, and the only defense the nation had was a police brigade with poor training. Iceland was in for a rough time indeed. In Canada, many people as you can expect were not happy being under American Rule. Unlike New England or the Pacific States of America, Canada had never been apart of the former United States. It could have been if the United States won the War of 1812 but that didn't happen, and revolts occur ed all across the countryside. The place where most AUS Forces had to be stationed in was Quebec however, President Huey Long would soon learn the will of Quebec, and his decision to how he would handle it would change the face of the Americas.

In Europe, while things were beginning to cool down in the American Union State once again, the Second Weltkrieg was still raging on. In Spain, after the legitimate government, Kingdom of Spain, won the Spanish Civil War against the Carlist and Syndicalist Rebels, decided that it was time to submit to a republic to represent it's people better. On November 21st, 1940, the Kingdom of Spain was no more, and Republic of Spain was born. Democracy had found it's way to the Iberian Peninsula, how long this would last is only something God himself knows. Despite this good news from Spain, a new French Counterattack occurred in Alsace Lorraine after a massive encirclement of German Forces in what was Flanders-Wallonia destroyed tons of German Divisions. The French had reached the Rhein River, and all of Alsace Lorrraine was under their control. In response to the sudden French advancement into the Kaiserreich, a massive propaganda campaign was being initiated in the German Empire. The Second Reich called the new propaganda "Die Wacht Am Rhein" (The Watch on the Rhine), named after the German Patriotic Song which was the unofficial anthem of the Kaiserreich itself. The Propaganda called for the eradication of Syndicalism, the rise of the German Empire, and for German Men to enlist into the Army. It worked, and all across the country men were leaving to go save the Rheinland from the horrors of Syndicalism. In North America, President Huey Long had to deal with a problem that Canada itself had to face. French-Canadians. They were obsessed with freedom even the American Union State gave it to them, but they persisted anyway. With growing rebellions and protests, President Huey Long created the country of Quebec, and December 20th became Liberation Day for Quebec. The nation became a prominent ally of the American Union State, and would prove valuable in the years to come. Spain was recovering from their civil war, and Delhi was finally integrating the Indian Peoples back into the Imperial fold. For now, everything seemed more calm than it had before. But there was still a war raging, and it was something not be ignored for that would be foolish.

These troops would eventually be tested in the Second Weltkrieg, where they would fight for their dear Quebec until their dying breaths.

The last major thing that happened in the year of 1940, Venezuela was still battling the British Caribbean Federation which was putting up a major fight. After months of countless fighting, the Venezuelan Army managed to take Guayana from the Caribbean Federation, and assimilated it into Venezuela. President Huey Long congratulated the Venezuelans on their victory, but he was planning something greater for January. The Invasion of Hawaii. January 9th, 1941, the AUS Pacific Fleet along with the AUS Pacific Transport Fleet (which was filled with AUS Soldiers) headed toward the Hawaiian Islands. Operation Clam had just started, and Hawaii's end seemed near. The Hawaiians actually had no real Infantry Divisions, they only had the militia who were loyal to the Hawaiian King, the one who started the revolt against the United States of America in the first place. It was tough battle, but after Pearl Harbor fell along with the rest of the island chain, Hawaii accepted annexation by the American Union State, and now all of the the former United States's lands were under AUS Control, minues Puerto Rico and the Philipines. Liberia was nothing more than a puppet for the USA, and it will remain a puppet seeing as they themselves became a puppet of National France, the French Government in Exile, or the Fourth French Republic. Liberia is a joke of a nation to the American Union State really, it's not like they had any good markets anyway, nor would America need them because of their new trading partner, Germany.

The good news however, it was coming to an end for the whole entire Earth. In Europe, the Commune of France have basically secured the Rhein River, and are making attacks into the German Heartland itself. French Bombers could also now bomb Berlin itself, putting the city along with other eastern cities in danger. The French, thinking that their war in Europe was good enough to make a new country, created Belgium once more. This new Belgium had the originally Belgian Flag, but it was a Syndicalist country now. Flanders-Wallonia, the German puppet in Belgium, was effectively wiped out by the new Belgium and the Commune of France. Just four days after both the American Union State and the Entente Powers realized how bad the situation in Europe was becoming because the two were foolishly killing each other, made peace. America called for peace because President Huey Long turned his attention to Europe, and he just knew that Germany wasn't going to last long if the Entente was helping, since they were now fighting a defensive war against the American Union State. The American Union State had unintentionally helped the Internationale by invading the main member of the Entente, and destroying it too. But then again it was Canada and New England who started the American-Entente War because they were the ones who didn't negotiate for a peaceful reentry for New England into the American Union State. Whatever the reason, both powers ultimately weakened themselves by doing this. Now, the Internationale is far deadlier, and should they end up controlling the entire continent, then America might have to step in. The peace treaty was called the Treaty of Vancouver, it detailed the peace terms between the two powers, and made sure that the Entente and America would not go to war ever again while the future of Humanity lay at stake. Puerto Rico, and the Hawaiian Islands would become apart of the American Union State, and the British Empire would recognize American Sovereignty over the former Dominion of Canada, as well as recognizing the nation of Quebec. The British Caribbean Federation would cede the Guayana Essequiba province to Venezuela, and would recognize American Sovereignty over Puerto Rico. The American Union State would pay for the collapse of the ISAC and the RAAC, and would grant the Entente Military Access in Hawaii because they needed a new base in the Pacific if they were to survive the Empire of the Rising Sun, Japan. The American Union State would also sign a non-aggression pact with each other, so never again should freeman fight freeman. At least for now, the New English and Canadian menace was gone, the American Union State was now the dominate power in the whole of the Americas. President Huey Long now had successfully united the whole of the former United States, first with the Pacific States of America, then New England, now Hawaii and Puerto Rico. The only thing that remained was the Philippines, which had become a Japanese Client State ever since their revolution against the United States of America. The Philippine would be an interesting place to retake, but President Huey Long had a plan for the nation. He wanted to incorporate the Philippines directly into the American Union State. It'd be quite funny, America would stretch from the Atlantic Ocean to Asia...

After the American victory over the Entente Powers, the American Union State had found new allies, specifically Quebec and Iceland. America was now leading a not so bad power block of countries in America, and Iceland which is in Europe but pretty close to the Americas. The American Union State wanted to make their alliance more official to the world, and so with support from the AUS Congress, President Huey Long called upon the leaders of Quebec, Mexico, Venezuela, and Iceland to the city of Atlanta in Atlanta Commonwealth. The result was the creation of the Atlanta Pact, an alliance between the American Union State, Mexico, Venezuela, Quebec, and Iceland. All of these nations had seen the horrors of war, and wished that their alliance would act as a deterrent to other foreign powers. In the end it didn't work due to the Union of Britain and Japan but it did push Brazil and Centro America to become more isolationist, not wanting to waken the still sleeping giant of America. In the West Coast, Reconstruction between the American Union State and the former Pacific States of America was declared over, and the West Coast was no longer under military occupation. Out of the ashes of the old PSA, three new commonwealths were created, California Commonwealth, Montana Commonwealth, and Arizona Commonwealth. The American Union State also created Alaska Commonwealth, and Hawaii Commonwealth. Puerto Rico was added into Gulf Commonwealth, adding a new region for the Commonwealth. Alaska Commonwealth annexed parts of Canada, but nothing to drastic. Vancouver Island was annexed into Alaska Commonwealth as well as other Canadian islands in the west. California Commonwealth received the former states of California and Nevada, Montana Commonwealth annexed the whole of the American Oregon Territory (Idaho, Washington, Wyoming, and Oregon), the northeastern part of Colorado was annexed into Dakota Commonwealth, Arizona Commonwealth received the former US States of Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah along with Arizona itself, New England Commonwealth was made by the AUS Congress and it's new borders reached up to Halifax, finally, Great Lakes Commonwealth annexed the Canadian Great Lakes Regions in Ontario.

Flag of the Californian Commonwealth, a Commonwealth which like Washington and Great Lakes Commonwealth deals with wiping out the Pacific States from American memory, making it seem like a bad time and it actually was, it was basically dictatorship during it's last months as a nation. The red is for the men who died for the commonwealth, the white is for peace and prosperity, and the yellow is for freedom. The bear is the historical animal of California so it was included int the flag.

Flag of Arizona Commonwealth, a commonwealth that often ignored in American Politics. The Arizona Commonwealth has a strong Hispanic-American Population, and the commonwealth helped end racial tensions in the West Coast. The Blue stands for democracy, the Red stands for the passion of the people, and the Yellow stands for the bravery of it's people. The Star represents the old star of Arizona State, and how it transformed into a stronger and better commonwealth.

The Flag of the Alaskan Commonwealth. The Alaskan Commonwealth was basically running Alaska ever since the American Union State got back Alaska from Canada, but it was only ever official when the American Union State set up the new commonwealths in the West Coast. Alaskans, are loyal to America and will always be. Alaska also has a strong Russian Population, which more or less helped the American Union State become friendlier with the Russian Empire. The Blue represents the sky, the ocean, and mountain lakes, as well as Alaska's wildflowers. The Seven Yellow Stars stand for the Big Dipper Constellation while the bigger start represents the North Star since Alaska is the northernmost American Commonwealth.

The Flag of Montana Commonwealth. Montana Commonwealth kept it's original US State Flag, but it no longer has any sympathies for the United States of America, and it now controls the rich port cites of Seattle and Portland.

New Flag of New England Commonwealth. The New English Commonwealth as you know had a flirt with independence and it did not work out, in fact it caused the end of Canada, but nevertheless it is now American Union State Commonwealth. The New English Commonwealth heavily deals with suppressing remaining New English Nationalists and Canadian Rebels, and now is a loyal Commonwealth. The White with Red Stripes represents St. George from England, the Pine Tree is derived from the flag that was used in the Revolutionary War against the British Empire, and the red stands for the blood of Christ since it was Puritan Christians who founded New England in the first place.

The Native Flag of the Hawaiian Commonwealth. The Hawaiian Commonwealth was once an independent country like New England, Great Lakes, Washington, and California Commonwealth, but they ended up becoming a target of the Japanese Empire. But all in all, they are a loyal commonwealth and are proud Americans. The Flag represents the native peoples of Hawaii and how they stand with America.

February 24th, 1941, the Commune of France has pushed deeper in to the Fatherland, causing mass panic across MittelEuropa. The Russian Empire now had to deal with fleeing refugees from the conflict, which they welcomed. The Russians trained the men and sent them out to start insurrections against the Syndicalists while they sheltered the women and children. The new frontlines were cut the Kaiserreich in half, but they were managing to hold out along the Hannover Line, a defensive line that ran from Hannover to Bavaria. The Totalist French Troops managed to destroy the defensive lines and pushed deeper into Germany, occupying all of Bavaria besides Augsburg which was still held by German Paratroopers. Hamburg had fallen and Denmark was now under the threat of invasion if Kiel fell. The Commune of France was supposed to hold it's general elections in 1941, but since the Second Weltkrieg was waging that did not happen. It was pretty suspicious if you asked Long, he thought it was just a ploy by the Totalists to keep the more democratic Syndicalists out of power. Germany was desperate, but they didn't want to involve other powers in the war. Austria was strengthening it's border patrols and even considered centralizing the empire in the event of a Internationale Victory over MittelEuropa, and funny enough, Hungary was begging the Austrians to centralize the empire. The Ottoman Empire and Bulgaria sent aid to their former ally, but for now everything was bad for the Kaiserreich.

June 9th, 1941. As the Commune of France reached Berlin, the Kaiser was evacuated to the provisional capital of Danzig, but the Kaiser's doctors found out that the Kaiser was ill, and after a few hours in Danzig, Kaiser Wilhelm II von Preußen, the Weltkrieg Emperor, died peacefully. His son, Wilhelm III became the new Kaiser of the Second Reich, and soon enough he ordered new operations to save Berlin after his coronation. As the German Leadership was only experiencing hardships both in Europe and in Asia, the Philippines seized Northern Sarawak, and Germany couldn't do a thing. Now the Japanese could just walk right into German Brunei and the rest of Sarawak.

He was nicknamed the Weltkrieg Emperor after the courageous victory against British and French Imperialism.

August 2nd, 1941. The AUS Atlantic Fleet was escorting American Supplies that were being delivered to Germany after President Huey Long created the Lend-Lease Program to help nations that were vital to the American Union State's survival. With the Fall of Berlin, the German Empire was on it's last legs. America needed to act fast, but there was a growing Isolationist Movement in the American Union State. President Huey Long wanted to end this, and he did. On the morning of August 2nd, Pearl Harbor and the Pacific Fleet were attacked by the Imperial Japanese Navy and Air Force after Lend-Lease was being issued to their enemy, Germany. In the Atlantic, the Union of Britain launched a strike on the convoys bringing supplies to MittelEuropa. President Huey Long and the American Populace were once again outraged and shocked. War after war, the American Union State was not starting these, but her enemies were. On August 4th, 1941, the American Union State, Mexico, Quebec, Venezuela, and Iceland entered the Second Weltkrieg on Germany's side after the AUS Congress voted on war against the Internationale and the Greater East Asian Co-Prosperity Sphere.

"Yesterday, August 2nd, 1941. A date which will in infamy. America was suddenly and deliberately attacked, by naval and air forces of the Union of Britain and the Empire of Japan. America was at peace with those nations, and even though we saw the carnage of the imperialist wars Japan fought, or the war in Europe, we still tried to have peace. End of Chapter Four
Finally, the horrrible writing process is over, for now anyway. Once again I hoped everyone reading this liked it, especially the lurkers who never get out of their hiding spots to tell an AAR writer if they liked it or not. I know I said that Chapter 4 could have been released on Friday the 13th, but I stopped writing after I heard the horrible news coming from France (Paris was bombed by terrorists), so Pray of Paris I say! Also, If anybody has a general idea on how to make custom events it would be much appreciated, I'd like to make more things that mirror World War Two, like Operation Barborrosa so Russia can do something, and I'd like for the Austrians to defensively centralize the empire. But perhaps the one thing I'd like to do with a custom event is to rename the Entente (when Germany falls and we join the Entente) to the Allied Powers or the Eighth Coalition. I think it would be a better title anyway for the alliance since historically the Entente was very anti-German, and having Germany in it is kind of hypocritical. Anyway, that's it, and let the Second Weltkrieg begin! For America at least.

At least there is the Australasian Confederation, they've basically taken the role that Canada was supposed to fill. Also Russia already tried to join MittelEuropa but Germany didn't want to lose Ukraine...now look where that got them. Anyway, the only way they are going to be joining is if there is an event where they join the Entente or MittelEuropa, and or if they are attacked and I make them join. But, if Russia were to join the war and be distracted, it would a perfect moment for a certain empire to take their land back...

Problem is the English Channel and the North Sea are death traps, the Republican Navy controls the waters, landing troops in Germany is going to be an obstacle, in fact it will be impossible if Copenhagen falls to the Syndies. If I take out the Union of Britain, then the Internationale is done for at sea unless the German Union is created (I've seen them have five carriers once, I can't even comprehend how this can happen). Right now I'm just hoping the Ukrainians and Germans can hold the line at the Oder-Nieße until I can eliminate the Union of Britain.

I suggest marshaling your forces in Morocco, then landing at Bordeaux. From there you can fan out all over France. As for the UoB navy, distract them and hope they don't find your transports. You will lose some, plus their contents but from experience I can tell you that once France has broken the German front it's a done deal unless you can open up a new front. Once France takes over the continent you won't be able to do much until you can nuke their megastacks.

Chapter 5 - The Fall of Britannia and Europe Part I
July 4th, 1942

October 29th, 1941

Washington D.C., Federal District of Columbia, White House

Just outside the White House, two month after the American Union State, Quebec, Mexico, Venezuela, and Iceland entered the Second Weltkrieg, President Huey Long was already being bombarded with questions about his plan of action against both the Internationale and the Greater East Asian Co-Prosperity Sphere. It was now clear that Europe was going to fall, the Oder-Neiße Line had fallen to the Commune of France, Poland was next after the fall of mainland Germany, then White Ruthenia, United Baltic Duchy, and finally Ukraine. After MittelEuropa fell, then who next? Austria-Hungary? North Italy? Scandinavia? Spain and Portugal? Ireland? Russia? Europe was on fire, and both the Entente and MittelEuropa had nothing to extinguish it. However, Huey Long had a plan. The AUSDF created to theaters for America to fight in, the Eura-African Theater and the Pacific-Asian Theater. Each were given 40 Divisions to handle, and the AUS Eura-African Theater Command had developed a plan to take down the only power in the Internationale that immediately threatened the American Union State, the Union of Britain. The Union of Britain was the one who got America into the war in the first place, and Long was hell bent on making them pay for the carnage they caused. The plan the AUSEATC (American Union State Eura-African Theater Command) came up with was called Operation Norman Return was the name designated for the Invasion of the Union of Britain. The original plan called for an invasion of Scotland from Iceland, but when Ireland joined MittelEuropa out a common enemy relationship with Germany, the invasion would have to start from Ireland. It was not only close, but it gave way to invade all three main parts of the Union of Britain, England, Wales, and Scotland. When Huey Long heard of the plan, he did not reveal it to the public, but he did say this. "I will succeed where Napoleon failed...I shall succeed for freedom...I will land on the shores of Britain..."

August 5th, 1941, despite America's entry into the war making things better for the Free World, things were not great every. Deutsche Singapore was the last remaining German Colony in the area besides Deutsche Brunei and Deutsche Sarawak. A rebellion had broken out in the Rheinland against the French Totalists, the Oder-Neiße Line was barely holding out, Iceland was getting American Reinforcements, Morocco was being occupied by National France, making an invasion of the Commune of France impossible, and half the Polish and German Armies were stuck defending Kiel and Denmark. MittelEuropa was a mess, and every top general in the American Union State just knew that Europe was going to fall to the Internationale, and that would be disastrous. Even if America was to take out the Union of Britain, there would still be a highly dangerous enemy controlling the entirety of Europe. The Entente still refused to directly work with MittelEuropa, despite the international community deeply wanting this. Delhi was the only British 'Colony' that wasn't involved in the Second Weltkrieg, but it was now clear that they were going to. Already, forces of Delhi were already readying themselves on the Thai-Delhi Border. If they joined, the Indochinese Front would essentially be over, but for now, Singapore would just have to keep on being the Alamo of Asia, let us hope it does not share the same fate as the Texans who fought in the Alamo against Mexico.

German Special Forces try and secure a town on the outskirts of Singapore, as you can see they do not look like German Special Forces at all, and that is because they are actually Australasian Volunteers. While the Entente and MittelEuropa would not work openly, no one said they wouldn't work together in secret.

German Troops of the Kaiserreich during the Fourth Battle of Stettin, during which German Soldiers were so ferociously defending their sacred soil, Totalist French Troops were shocked at how German Soldiers were literally fighting tooth and nail until their brain or heart was gone. It was no surprise that this battle was a victory for MittelEuropa.

Just a month after war had reached America's shores once again, South America dove into flames again. Already was the Great Argentinian-Brazilian War raging, absolutely decimating border cities and towns, then you had American-Entente War, this war while most of it took place in Canada and in the Pacific, there was a great deal of fighting and dying in Guyana between Venezuela and the British Caribbean Federation, now war had occurred between the Wild Card of South America, Peru, and Gran Columbia along with it's ally, Ecuador (Ecuador was more of a puppet state than anything else, it was a wonder why they hadn't been annexed. Anyway, Peru announced her intentions to South America earlier in 1939, back when the Pacific States of America still existed. Gran Columbia had since been organizing her military for war with Peru, how that would pan out remains to be seen. The Peruvian Ambassador to Ecuador delivered Peru's final ultimatum to the 'Entente of South America'. Peruvian Cored Lands or War! Gran Columbia and Ecuador chose war, and so the great Second Peruvian-Colombian War began. Now, only Bolivia and Chile were the only places in South America that the virus of war had thankfully not spread to, but for the rest of the continent, things looked bad. South America itself would prove to be a wild card for the Second Weltkrieg. La Plata and Brazil, the two great powers of the continent, were in open total war with each other. Whoever won would determine the outcome of the Second Weltkrieg. If Brazil won, then they would surely set up new Totalist Governments in South America, and soon would enter the war on the Internationale's side. If La Plata won, then South America would remain neutral or at best join the war on the American Union State's side, and America wouldn't have to enact the Long Doctrine on Brazil unless there was only a mere cease fire rather than a total La Plata victory. Things were tense in the world that's for certain, in fact the Oder-Neiße Defense Line had fallen, and now the Internationale had a border with Poland. As the invasion of mainland Germany continued, what remained of the Ukrainian Army fled to Warsaw where they hoped that they could at least save Poland and themselves until help arrived. The Royal Family of Germany (House of Hohenzollern) fled secretly to MittelAfrika from Crimea after the Ottomans gave them military access through the Constantinople Gap, and the Kaiser along with his fellow blood left Germany in a shameful exile.

Gran Colombian Fighter Pilots receive the news about the new Peruvian-Colombian War, a conflict which decimated South America. These Fighter Pilots however would end up being completely wiped out during the Battle of the Galapagos Islands against the invading Peruvians.

As the mighty Ireland fended off numerous amounts of invasions from the Union of Britain, most lead by British Mastermind Montgomery, things seemed fairly good "but they could be better." Michael Collins thought. The Republic of Ireland had achieved it's independence from the crumbling British Empire in 1921, during the last stages of the First Weltkrieg, however Ireland had to become a commonwealth of the British Empire and still have the ruling British Monarch as it's head of state. After the British Empire collapsed into chaos in 1925 after the Syndicalist Revolution in the Home Isles, Ireland achieved full independence and Michael Collins quickly reunified Ulster (Northern Ireland) and became the de facto leader of the Emerald Isle. However, things were not all well in Ireland. For one, Ulster was still full of British Sympathizers which as you can guess soured relations between Northern and Southern Irishmen, and two, the country was in economic turmoil until the Union of Britain declared war on Ireland a few months before the Second Weltkrieg. The Irish Luck stayed with Ireland, and so Ireland resisted Oswald Mosley and the disease of Syndicalism, and Ireland even survived the British Blitz over cities like Dublin and Waterford. When it became clear to everyone that Europe was going to fall to Syndicalism, Ireland was going to fall next. You see, the outbreak of the Second Weltkrieg saved Ireland because British attention was now focused only on the German Empire, specifically Malta, Morocco, and the German Coastline. If Ireland stood alone against the Totalist and Syndicalist, Ireland was going to be destroyed. Ireland, on October 9th, 1941, joined MittelEuropa in their fight against the Union of Britain, South Italy, and the Commune of France.

Nothing really interesting happened across the world in the November of 1941, especially in Europe. Poland, Germany, and Ukraine were barely surviving the Commune of France, and there was word that the Polish Government left the country and fled to Ukraine, but no one really thought much of it. The only real surprising and interesting thing that happened in the world that month was the end of the Second Peruvian-Colombian War. Peru signed a peace treaty with Gran Columbia and Ecuador, stating that it will never attack the two countries ever again and would pay war reparations. This decision led to dissent at home in Peru, the decision itself to end the war was because of the stalemate that had arisen after Peru was forced on the defensive. This war did nothing but waste lives, but it did give Gran Columbia good morale.

January 18th, 1942, Polish and Ukrainian Armies struggle to save Warsaw, the last stronghold for MittelEuropa in Poland, from the bloodsucking jaws of the Internationale. Poland was in dire need of assistance, but with the Mediterranean now in the hands of the Internationale and with the North Sea blocking entrance to the Baltic Sea due to the Union of Britain, no help from the Americas would be coming. Poland and Ukraine stood alone in Warsaw, but despite their courage the city would eventually fall, and free Polish Armies would have to settle in Ukraine. Now the United Baltic Duchy was next, then White Ruthenia, and finally Ukraine. After they fell, it would game over for Europe for quite a while until America could start this war on overdrive and take the war to the Syndies in Europe. On the same day, the German and Polish Armies defending Denmark were cornered into a small area up north, leaving Copenhagen, the only to get to the Baltic Sea, open for capture. When the Danish King received this news, he was immediately evacuated to Sweden, where from there he hoped he and his government could find safe passage to MittelAfrika. But, at the same time, in Ireland, America was marshaling it's forces for something incredible, the Invasion of the Union of Britain. If the Union of Britain could be destroyed, then the naval power of the Internationale would be gone immediately and MittelEuropa (along with the Entente) would naval superiority over the Commune of France and it's not satellite states. Operation Norman Return was in full effect, and soon the wrath of the Day of Normans or N-Day would come to the British. A few days after the fall of the Denmark Front, Denmark was quickly annexed by the Commune of France which was dangerously stomping madly all over the European Continent. Denmark would be under occupation for now until the French knew what to do with the conquered nation. February 1st, 1942, Poland fell to the Internationale, and Ukraine had to scavenge up what remained of Poland to fuel their war effort. Countless ancient Polish-German-Lithuanian-Baltic-White Ruthenian-Ukrainian artworks and cultural treasures were in full transport to Kiev, and then to Crimea. Everyone now knew the war was lost in Europe for now, and all the leaders who survived the Internationale fled to Crimea to begin what would become the Mass MittelEuropa Evacuation From Europe, or the Crimea Escape. A week later, in the Asian-Pacific Theater, specifically the Indochina Front, completely collapsed. German and Australasian Volunteers were after a long and noble battle, unjustly slaughtered by the Japanese and Thai Troops. It was disgusting, the civilian populace of Singapore were killed, raped, stolen from, and or became slaves to the Japanese. This act of inhuman brutality would become known to man as the Rape of Singapore, a disgusting event in history which should never be repeated ever again. The Alamo of Indochina had finally fallen. On the last day of February, the Social Democratic Lithuania surrendered to the approaching Totalist French Armies, adding another nation to the new Totalist Empire of France. After that, Riga fell along with the United Baltic Duchy, and now escape from Europe had to be done unless you wanted to get killed by the French.

Polish Officers look at the carnage of a ruined government building in Warsaw after a combined assault from French and British Bombers. These officers would survive the Battle of Warsaw, but most men on both sides didn't. The Battle of Warsaw will always be a standing symbol of how Poland will never fall in spirit.

A Russian made boat carrying tons of artwork, cultural artifacts, and people leaving Crimea for the Black Sea and to MitteAfrika to join up with the rest of Free MittelEuropa. The ships were very lucky that the Ottoman Empire let them through, and act of friendship that will always be remembered.

In April, Europe had fallen into the hands of the dirty Syndicalist-Totalist menace, Ukraine and White Ruthenia were the only ones who remained afloat. After the Kaiserreich capitulated, Kaiser Wilhelm III von Preußen decided that MittelAfrika would be the place where they would capitulate to, and where they would rebuild and rearm to retake their home from the Syndicalists. The decision was unpopular with the native peoples of Africa, but it had to be done if they're way of live was to be preserved. This was not for petty direct rule over the thriving colony, it was to ensure that Germany would not fall, and would not fall until God willed it to. Things looked grim across the globe, Australasia was fighting a naval war it could not win against the Imperial Japanese Navy, National France was now facing invasion once again, Ukraine was under invasion, White Ruthenia was under invasion, Russia and Austra-Hungary could do nothing but watch as Europe fell to the Reds, with Singapore gone MittelEuropa was forced into a defensive position across the Pacific Ocean, and just everywhere it sucked. Something needed to happen to boost morale and to get the people to really engaged in the war, and what perfect way to get people to do just that then take out the nation that brought death upon your people? On April 5, 1942, N-Day occurred, and for the first time since the year of 1066, Britain was invaded. Immediately, American Armies landed in Glasgow and immediately attacked Edinburgh, and the rest of Scotland, getting ready for a downward invasion of England and Wales in the future. The Union of Britain was about the ripped apart by the American Eagle like it was always meant to be. On the same day, the Third International Congress took place, and delegates from all communist nations came to Paris to discuss communist things. At the congress, the Commune of France announced it's intention to spread Marxism to all of Europe, not just the parts they owned now. This move prompted Austria-Hungary to mobilize, and so did Scandinavia, the Balkans, Iberia, and Russia. The Commune of France also congratulated it's partner nations in helping the 'World Revolution' more like the Evil Revolution. Sounds childish yes but look at what their doing, the French themselves have killed so many of their own because of their Bolshevik thinking, they're almost as bad as John Jack Reed, who Long remembered had fled America after the American Union State triumphed righteously over them, and President Huey Long oh so awaited the day John Jack Reed was tried in front of the world for his crimes against humanity. The next thing the congress announced to the world was it's goal on 'liberating' Africa of colonialism and giving them the 'fruit of life' that is Marxism. It was cringe worthy, not even President Huey Long would say something like that for freedom or something. Yemen and Ethiopia however, sensing that the German Empire was on it's knees and was weak seized Aden and Somalia, making the Internationale's job easier. After Yemen and Ethiopia got away with steeling rightful German possessions, Egypt stole the Suez Canal from Germany, and now Suez, the life line that connect Germany to it's German Pacific Colonies was cut, "Better them then the Reds" Huey Long told Kaiser Wilhelm III, who was now definitely going to be the worst Kaiser in history. The Commune of France and the Union of Britain also announced another thing so ludicrous and impossible, it made Long laugh. The two Totalist-Syndicalist nations announced their intent on 'ending the American capitalists and freeing the American Worker', and not surprisingly it was announced by none-other than John Jack Reed and William Z. Foster. America's response to this outrage? Don't Tread On Me! Things continued to escalate as April continued to pass by, such as the Internationale having troubled thoughts of Totalism for once, but that was all overshadowed by one thing. The birth of the German Union. It's mere existence made Kaiser Wilhelm III sob in his bed, and made the world shed a tear. Was this what we were to expect from this 'Workers Revolution'? Death and destruction? Already the disease that Karl Marx created had plunged the world into chaos twice, once when the Russian Civil War threatened Russia to become a Bolshevik State (Totalist) and now the Second Weltkrieg which as you know just destroyed the whole of Europe.

Chapter 6 - The Fall of Britannia and Europe Part II

There was an audience of British all across the country, wanting to celebrate the downfall of Syndicalism in their country, and after a few greetings and discussions, a Swedish band by the name of Sabaton entered the stage. Sabaton had made a song about the Battle of London and the Evacuation of Dover to Dunkirk, and well they were invited to share it. This hearing was attended by famous people as well, such a British Prime Minister David Cameron, Kaiser Kuril von Preußen, and American President Stephen Harper.

After that the show was over, but the one thing that was stuck in everybody's mind was the fact that it was over and they were lucky. They never had to experience the horrors of Syndicalism and Totalism, and in fact they lived in a good peaceful society. Such was the fate of the Union of Britain, destruction.

British Soldiers of the Union of Britain race to get out of London during the Battle of London, a battle in which the city of London was destroyed but thankfully not set on fire like Ottawa. Grander things were afoot.​

With most of Germany's colonies now in foreign or enemy hands, the Entente Powers decided it would be funny if they stole Morocco from it's rightful master, the Kaiserreich. The Germans couldn't do anything, they were already suffering the same fate they had dealt to the Entente Powers after the First Weltkrieg, what goes around comes around. The National French marched across Morocco and took the colony for themselves. By the end of April, Scotland had surrendered to the American Union State, now all what was left of the Union of Britain (England and Wales) was about to be invaded. When May came around, the German Union hosted it's first German Union Congress, and decided on many things, such a it's adoption of Totalism, and it's World Revolution Foreign Policy. The German Union most likely did this so they wouldn't anger their new French and British Masters, in fact T.E. Lawrence of Arabia and Germania was honored a hero in this new Germany. Shortly after, White Ruthenia collapsed and the Commune's Army marched straight down into Ukraine. When this happened, the Mass MittelEuropa Evacuation from Europe happened, and so the land of Ukraine was largely undefended. At the end of the month, the Commune of France being the bold one it is decided to call a Internationale Conference for Africa, as you can guess, everyone who was on Africa was not happy. Protests against the Commune of France started happening in National France, Egypt, Free Germany, and the Union of South Africa, but the conference just went on ahead.

June 4th, 1942, the Socialist Republic of Italy, or South Italy, declared Total War on the Kingdom of Italy (North Italy), a theocratic state under the head of the Pope. The Socialist Republic of Italy did this because Italy now had no foreign backer like Germany, and Austria wouldn't dare cross the border to help Italy now. Immediately French and Southern Italian Troops marched into North Italy, the Second Reunification of Italy was imminent. On June 16th, the 'Jerusalem of Britain' fell to the American Union State, London had been taken. It was astonishing to the Internationale. How could Britain loose so bad? Either way, The American Union State invaded all of southern England, and soon enough the Wales would be cornered. At the end of June, the Ukrainian Army fled the country after the Battle of Sevastopol which saw the Mass Evacuation of the Ukrainian Government and Military. Free Ukrainian Infantry Units were sent to MittelAfrika, and quickly France took over the mighty Ukraine. One thing happened which gave everyone relief, despite the death and dying taking place all over the world the two nations of Brazil and La Plata made a peace, an unstable peace, but peace nonetheless. The war was over and the fighting was over, South America slept quietly that night, safe and sound. On the same day, the Union of Britain surrendered to the American Union State, and the United Kingdom of England, Scotland, and Wales was created, and as a token of friendship, President Huey Long let the British Royal Family return to their home in the British Isles as the Head of State. I guess you could call the great trade off, America get's Canada and Britain get's its home back. The Entente and MittelEuropa were basically an alliance now, but nothing was official yet. To think that the once warring leaders of the British Empire and the German Empire standing side by side with each other against a common enemy was beautiful, and for once wasn't a pipe dream.

British Troops who were previously in exile return home to Britain and raise the Union Jack over the British Isles (besides the Emerald Isle) once more for the first time since 1925, the nightmare of the British Empire was over.

Southern Italian Armored and Motorized Infantry Divisions cross into enemy territory near the outskirts of the Kingdom of Italy's (North Italy) capital city, Rome. The Battle of Rome was a colossal battle, and after the city fell the Catholic Church was forced to retreat to Madrid, Spain.​

(Sigh of relief) Finally it is over, well these two chapters I mean. Yes I know separating them doesn't seem to make sense and it makes me look lazy but I have a reason! It's because these forums won't let you attach more than 30 pictures to a post so well I had to split them, sorry for this being considerably shorter, in fact I think this chapter was shorter than the first intermission but I'll make it up to you guys. Anyway, I'm so glad Britain is done, the Union of Britain's Navy is so freaking strong, you know what? I might play as them after I conquer the world as Poland. On another note, yes Sabaton is a real band and if you want to listen to them then just look them up on youtube, the song I actually based the song about the Battle of London is called Hearts of Iron (LOL) and it's about the Battle of Berlin. Anyway, that is it, and let us hope that I can do a D-Day and liberate Europe!

No I had peace with the Entente in Chapter 4 - No More Isolationism. I think it's funny though, I'd never think Long would let his former enemy return to his home after robbing him of his home in Canada but who cares, at least we aren't war because then Germany would have been at war with the Entente, and that means fighting a two front war against National France and South Africa in the harsh terrain of Africa.

Imagine how many Canadians are now living in homeless shelters, because you burnt their houses down? How many Canadians are now grieving for family members whose deaths you directly caused? They are a conquered people and Huey Long should hope that all the angry Canadians quickly emigrate to Britain, or else there will surely be an anti-American insurgency some years down the road.

Yes, the British are now my puppets. With American loving Lords taking the seats in parliament, they are now the legitimate authority of the British Empire, meaning in some way I control the British Empire! Unless, the rest of the empire doesn't accept their rule, and perhaps there would be a British Civil War between the Australasians-Delhians-South Africans-Caribbean Federationists vs the British Parliament! (plus America and some other countries) The possibilities.

I should just show you all a map of Canada, it is covered in Garrisons because revolts are everywhere. Assimilating a country, especially one like Canada, is going to take time. I wouldn't even be surprised if Canadians in this universe see themselves a Canadian-Americans rather than Americans, Canada could quickly turn into the thing it sort of fights against today, Quebec, now that would be funny. Perhaps there will be extremist revolt, that'd be interesting don't you think?
