For fun, I started a game as Germany, declared war on every living thing on earth, and then retreated all of my troops into Berlin.

Obviously the rest of Germany quickly fell, and while the world refused to attack Berlin itself with 30+ troops, I couldn't help wonder where all the powers were. It wasn't till in 1937 a year later that I panned out and found my answer. Apparenly the Allies feel Antwerp is the key to winning the war against Germany, not Berlin.

Anyone ever see a stack this big before?

:D

Theyre building a stairway to heaven ;)

Never seen anything like it but of course, I don't play with the counters.

I saw pretty impressive stacks of soviets a few times (above 100 divisions).

We need more high rises in this town!

I decided to see how crazy this thing got.... late 1940 and here we go:
Belgium has over 500 ground divisions! I guess because their country grabbed my territory, everyone in the world keeps loaning them troops, so we have over 500 divisions in Antwerp. This stack has literally gone off the map.

Another funny thing is my generals in Berlin after 5 years of continuous strategic bombing have become level 7 without ever engaging ground forces.

Maybe if you keep up such a skill-making defense, you'll become powerful enough to beat them all back! :D

That's pretty scary. Now, you need to build one of your own! More fun that way. :p

Just out of curiosity: you don't happen to have a nuke, do you? >
That would just be unsporting and completely immoral to kill 3/4 of the world's fighting men with just one bomb. I might wait till 1949 when my generals get up to skill 12 from getting strategically bombed, and then take this stack out with my 30 divisions. I can't even begin to imagine the stacking penalty that must ensue here!

Miral, just one question: How does Belgium supply all those divisions?
it would have to be by air drop because the city's so overcrowded they're sleeping in the streets, couldn't bring in a convoy... Its a good question though.

note also their killer manpower! well, at least it is not also negative.

OK, am i reading correctly: -592,318 oil? also, is it possible that another "digit" is covered [missing] at the end of that number?

Also notice the dissent: the belgians are really, really worn out by having strangers crowding the streets 24-7-365.

Anyway, it's a welknown factor. The AI does not suffer from neither supply nor manpower shortage. At least not for replacementpurposes.

So I'd still recommend that nuke :) Why, a 3-sided attack would be a frenzy - like shoting fish in a barrel. Why would that be more 'fair' or anyhting than a quick, clean nuke?

How many divisions are in that stack, exactly?
