How are the proceeds of a peace treaty distributed amongst alliance members? Some of the AAR text and screenshots seem to show the 'leader' of an alliance deciding where everything goes. Other text seems to indicate there's some negotation or dispute (which seems a bit unlikely with the computer AI to me, and perhaps just artistic license on the part of the authors). How is the 'leader' of an alliance determined? First to declare war, largest army, largest economy, highest overall approval? How would you rectify a situation such as in the Scotland AAR, where their 'ally' France comes in and grabs a province they're after, generally bollixing up the map thereafter? Can you swap provinces without actual conquest? (Buy, sell, intimidate, bribe...)

The leader of an alliance is the most powerful member of the alliance. I think the leader also has sole control over the outcome of collective peace agreements. Unfortunately, there isn't any way to trade provinces (this has been complained about in several different threads).

The original country that starts the alliance is the leader. e.g. France asks Scotland into an alliance. France is the leader. France asks Helvetia into an alliance, France is still the leader..

Nope, perhaps in an addon or a new game.
