When playing Spain and the civil war fires, in HOI 3 you keep playing as republican Spain and have to reload, is there any chance that when the event fires it could give you the option to pick republican or Fascist Spain instead of reloading. It's not a big deal, but it would be nice :D.

If it reaches high enough levels, the player may choose to side with the communists and start a civil war on their side. Even if not actively pursued, if support continues to grow due to external pressure despite the player's best efforts, a civil war will be inevitable and the player will have to choose their side.
This was referencing Greece in a communist vs neutral civil war. Judging from the quote it seems you can pick either side in a civil war (even if you caused it), and this is presumably the same for Spain.

Also, I seem to remember it was said somewhere else you could choose which side in the Spanish civil war, might of been in a multiplayer video.
