This is going to be my first AAR. I'm going to keep it simple. I'll do things my way, mostly posting wars and important events with short descriptions. I play on Ironman and on normal difficulty. I have all the expansions except for Dharma. Why did i choose Castille? Because I wanted an easier country to experiment and have room for mistakes, and because almost all of the nations i wanted to play soon get an update (Florence, Venice, Netherlands, Prussia, Austria, ...). I want to be able to colonize and I want to play as a catholic nation that can royal marry, eliminating Ottomans and Sweden. I've played Castille in the past. It generally has a rough start with a weak king and heir, a sluggish economy until some amazing events fire, and make it into one of the easiest and powerful countries to play. I might make it more challenging by expanding more into Europe and the Meditterranean fighting Ottomans and France at some point, and possibly allying Austria. We will see. I've set no goals. I just want to learn the concept of AAR's better and improve myself in the game. This will be only like the third or fourth campaign i'll play that lasts longer than 1500. I finished games with Pomerania, Spain before, and played with Russia until 1600. When Emperor releases, i'll start to play some semi-challenging countries.
