I thought you were going to bring up the very likely to exist fifth gas giant recently uncovered through mathematics.
It's considered almost certain to exist at the moment and was uncovered in January of this year I believe.I think that was neither likely nor recent, but I leave that up to the forum's astronomers.

If we get confirmation that planet IX is a real thing, will it be added to the default sol system?I can assure you they are not. The gas giant texture was created from scratch (and then color variants where created), they do look similar to Jupiter though, they ought to since they need to match, all a being gas giants.
Jupiter itself thought uses a unique texture, only for that planet.

Planet IX is estimated to be a small (10x earth mass) gas giant, not a dwarf planet. They already said that yes, if one of the dwarf planet in the Sol system is considered as a planet, it will become Sol IX .
