In the province window are the icons for the four social classes. Each has up to three smaller icons beneath (circle, heart, sword). I'm guessing the hearts and swords represent loyalty and the classes contribution to the province regiment. No idea what the circle represents.

But how does it all work? I've noticed my regiment go down from a healthy 300+ to less than 120 men awaiting their call up. The only suggestion in the manual for increasing army size is to favour the noble class but there was no explanation as to why.

Could anyone explain how to keep the regiment manpower up high?

btw, on another note in the same window. If you elect to pillage, do you get a one time rise to your gold income? and if so to what negative effect?

Thanks in advance.

1st paragraph: press the button f1, then expanded help, should be there

4th: pillage give u one time amount of gold and reduces your piety, How much? the top number is how much the owner gets, the bottom number is how much u would get if your pillaged that province.
