On September 8th Japanese divisions begin the first battle in the reoccupation of Java. The battle is successful.
On September 13th my uber fleet near Java sinks a New Zealand light cruiser. This is hailed as the next Tsushima in Japan, as this late in the game victories at sea are rather foreign to us.
On September 14th we sink a submarine. Woo.
On September 15th we sink two transport flotillas. Great, only 200 more to go. Also on this day we complete an oil refining tech. Immediately after I begin research on the next oil tech.
By September 16th I have completed the reoccupation of all the territories Britain gained in Malaya besides Singapore. I decide to launch an attack right away, for its now or never here. If I can't defeat the British here before they are reinforced, I'm never retaking Singapore. Unfortunately, while my troops fight hard against the British, they give up before the defenders and lose by the barest of margins. Before I can regain my strength for a second attack, Singapore is reinforced. I am not going to be retaking Singapore in this game.
By June 22nd in Java I have defeated the last British division there, and now all that is left is mopping up. Yay for holding Java!
Unfortunately this good news is followed by bad news as I learn that the two divisions defending Rabaul have been destroyed. The defenders there have defended against atleast 5 seperate attacks since the games start though, so I am actually surprised they held as long as they did. Still, I should have probably evacuated them when I was evacuating New Guinea, as they weren't defending anything of value there. Oh well.
And that bad news is followed by REALLY bad news as I learn that South Sakhalin is being attacked by a substantial landing force. I can only watch in disbelief and hope that by some miracle the defenders hold. The Gods weren't with me this time though, and I lose the battle. By September 28th it is gone for good. This is really bad as now they have a port AND an airfield right next to Hokkaido to begin an invasion of the Home Islands. Great.

@Iron-Chef : Next update I will. And yes, the Germans are about ready to completely collapse.
@Gigalocus : Wow, thanks for the tip about leaving the Axis. I will definitely do that as I really want to avoid a war with SU as much as possible, because as soon as they declare war, I'm doomed in China. And yes, puppeting China makes a BIG difference between winning and losing this scenario, and I think because of this I will lose the war, atleast in that I won't gain any territory. Thanks for the luck, I really need it.
@AntiochusIII : I will hold SE Asia at all costs but the Home Islands are in WAY big trouble as of where I am at in game terms.
@GeneralHannible : It most certainly is a joke, as I am in no condition to begin offensive operations against anyone right now. And I have a peace treaty with them until December 23rd 1945 so I am not too concerned about them.
BTW Kamikaze can also mean paper wind as Kami also means paper. OHHHH EVERYONE HAS JUST BEEN OWNED!!!!!111!!1
P.S. Please try to keep arguments over word definitions and spelling out of this thread. Keep it relatively on topic. Thanks.
