The set up file is corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program

This is the message i get whenever i try to install the lattest patch (gamersgate version) on my new computer (windows 8) i cannot play the Old Gods anymore.

Any idea where i can get another source (non steam) for the patch?

eta: although for me it gives similar problems as the launcher updater ie incomplete downloads ... I'll try again later

(various sizes at premature stop, 1.102 did come through completely)

this happens to me too on windows 7 computer, I tried to get the download from start screen and it gave me this error "The set up file is corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program". So I uninstalled/reinstalled product from gamer's gate. after reinstall still getting same error message trying to download 1.103. tried manual link stated above; still getting error message.

I can confirm that. Just downloaded it (through the link in the sticky) and it gave me the same error message. Of course i already got it. Just tried on behalf of the posters here.
Its smaller then the working patch version.



edit: Weird. Downloaded it again through the launcher and it had the right size ( 184.824 KB) and worked.

tried it again after dinner Aardvark; was able to install update as well. Weird indeed.
