Year 2485 Determined Exterminators, finally got bored of microing 56 planets, so I gave every sector minerals and set the AI on, which was a tedious thing to even do but I already made a thread about that. Maybe now I can focus on purging the rest of the galaxy.

What happens is the sector AI starts mashing out agricultural districts and hydroponics bays, and nothing else, on the non-machine world planets.

On the machine worlds it builds :
- assembly plant on the planets with unemployment and one building slot
- mineral purification plant on a planet with no mines
- some refineries (okay, fine, but I have almost max stores of refined goods anyway)
- that's all

My theory is that Paradox knows the AI dosent work properly yet (so the sector AI won't work either as it is likely the same code that runs it). So they butchered sectors until they are (hopefully) able to fix it.

I tried a similar thing to you although my threshold for tolerating micro was lower at 24 planets. I didn't even look at what the AI was doing because manually feeding ~19 sectors minerals and energy was boring enough for me to quit.
