each equipment type has a scripted weight for how important it is. so artillery types weigh in heavier than infantry say and if you got enough (doesnt need to be a majority) it will change the 3d model.

Don't know how easy it would be to do- but in my opinion it would be a whole lot more fun and immersive to have the sprite "Action" show up periodically whenever they are present, whatever the rating. Kind of like imitating different phases in a battle.

If they are present- even just one battalion- then showing them fire at the start of a battle and then every x number of hours. (If you wanted to be super cool the frequency of big stuff fireing could be tied to the supply level)

So, them showing the firing every so often would add more fun and realism. It would also let me (and others) still see what the base division is at a glance.

Regarding the forum icons, force the user to choose between the 2/3 on the "Owned items" page. If they don't set it manually, default to the highest tier. People who don't care keep the highest tier, people who want a lower tier icon can choose to display that instead. Sooner or later the icons will get out of control if there end up being 2-3 for each game going forward.

Oh and props to you guys for making it open to everyone. Icons are enough motivation to sign up for this stuff, no need to take the content away from people who missed the opportunity.

Before we only gave one for the version you bought. But some people thought the lower ones looked better than the higher ones, and even though they wanted the bigger pack, they contemplated buying the lower one just for the sake of the icon. In my folly I thought most people would only want to show one of the icons anyway and hide the others. But it seems people like to show off all of them. Not sure how to get around this to be honest :/

Maybe all versions should use the same icon?

Is there a way to confirm if I did sign up? I'm pretty sure I did, but I'm not very organized with my e-mails (never check the "spam" folders, and delete old messages in bulk) and my accounts (I don't have any rational criteria to use which one for what things, except the company account for work).

BTW I signed up in the forum when the HOI4 sign up campaign was over... So If I signed up with the same e-mail address, would I still get the bonuses?

I'd really love to have those, specially the strategy guide. Thanks!

Yes! I was about to edit my previous post! Now I see the icon because you pointed it out, but first I realized that I could download the signed wallpapers from my PDX account profile, as an owned item for signing up!!
