First serious game ever, i signed white peace with the emperor of HRE (bavaria) while in the war for the crown of austria. Didn't think that it would revoke my military acces through the HRE :-(
Playing as France I wanted to get the Master of India achievement. Russia had become a monster though and had taken over parts of India already in 1700. In Europe Austria was a monster and Russia was allied to Austria. I attacked Russia and had most of my troops in India to fight them and I was going to peace out Austria asap and give up somehing I didn't need much, like my PU with Naples. I did this on day 1. A few weeks later... Austria back in the war. I noticed this cause they attacked my only stack that I had in Europe.

Using the new ship building template as the Otomans, I built a new 30 stack of trade ships for use on Constantinople. Half were auto built on the other side of the Suez, and I hadn't discovered a way around Africa yet. Had to rebuild.
I've declared war on the wrong country by mistake while not paying attention a few times. I refer to these as my wars of the great clerical errors.
Hahahaha, yeah this one is great.
I just did this last night in my current Novgorod game.
I have Norway, Livonians, Perm, Ryazan, Kazan, Nogai and finland as vassals.
I'm allied to France.
I declare on Otto and start using my army to clear my vassals rebellions while they are out fighting the good fight.
Couple of years down the road Hedjaz and mamluks start sending me peace offers.
Military Advisor: "Sir, the AQ alliance is falling apart. Both the Mamluks and Hedjaz is begging for peace."
Knyaz: "AQ alliance? Aren't we fighting the ottomans?"
MA: "No sir, you where very specific, you wanted to declare on AQ."
K: "I pointed you towards Eastern Anatolia."
MA: "Yes sir. To the province that had defected to AQ during a siege."
Lesson to be learned. Doublecheck your decs.
