Just a note on Norway. Norway was formally independent untill 1536. That should make it a vassal of Denmark in the game, instead of part of Denmark.

Here is a short history of Norway in the period concerned with in EU2. This whole short history of Norways role in the Kalmar Union also got me started thinking. How will you simulate the whole Scandinavian situation?

1376 - Norwegian King Olav IV Håkonson elected king in Denmark as well. Norway enters a union with Denmark. Norway was equal to Denmark in this union.
1387 - Olav IV Håkonson dies. Danish Queen Margrethe takes over the two thrones until she can find a suitable heir.
1397 - Kalmar Union. Queen Margrethes adopted nephew crowned king of Scandinavia, but all three kingdoms were still seperate. This is one of the main reasons why Sweden so easily could declare their independence. These were the terms of the Kalmar Union: "The kingdoms shall always be united and have king-elections between the deceased king's sons. If there are no sons, the election should be free for all. The kingdoms shall have a common foreign policy, and help each other in war. The laws shall be different for each country, but a lawless in one country, is a lawless in all countries." This alone should spark some changes to the whole Scandinavian situation in EU2.
1435 to 1442 - Union dissolved.
1442 - Union reestablished. King Christopher III accepted as King of Norway.
1448 to 1450 - Union dissolved again.
1449 to 1450 - Karl I Knutsson Bonde, 'the Peasant', crowned King of Norway.
1450 - Union reestablished.
1521 - Sweden exits the union for good.
1523 to 1536 - The Norwegian Administration Council tried for independence for Norway.
1533 to 1536 - Civil War in Denmark. Lutherans vs. Catholics. Norway was being predominantly catholic during these struggles.
1537 - Lutheranism introduced into Norway. Arch-Bishop Engelbregtson of Nidaros led the last Norwegian army trying to free Norway, but gave up half-way there.

In other words, will there be some sort of Union type alliance in the game? Also, with dynamic dynasts etc etc, this seems to be an area that would benefit from it.
