since only Morocco position was the reason to boost OE and Russia to orhodox i claim this MP countries should be returned back to orthodox. Mostly that is about OE, which should benefit rapidly.

btw didn't russia westernise since peter the great , and didn't ottos have some sort of lotus period not sure

and ofcourse i claim spain should be orthodox arround now since it historicle declined for quite some time now ;)

England believes: Let Sleeping Dogs Lie. Don't play leapfrog with a unicorn. Don't stir the good-tasting broth.

Application of these principles leads one to believe Russia and the OE should stay Latin tech. Don't want them doing so well? Beat the crap out of them. ;)

As Fredrik has made it clear enough that he no longer wishes to participate in this game but doesn't have the decency to actually say so, I'm declaring OE "open".

Anyone who wants to play can go ahead and sign up for it.

well, thank you Drake, for last try to kill the game, you did it.
After you got benefit in 4 cases in a row, discussed and admit by you, the first war with your serious disadvantage - and you
- threating to quit if OE won`t appear next session
- violates convention, asking huge amount of provinces - all lost +
- threating to quit if Russia interfere 3 (on your side) vs 2, which was with your slight advantage
- finally quitting after Austria was forced to peace and then redowed.

I hope after you get your emotions over, you at least excuse and promise to behave better specially you were allowed for much more wars with severe advantage than against you.
If i played in 15xx like you, i would have landconnected Iberia and Italy (or even more if i wanted), and would quit if someone threat me to bang.

Anyway, i was able to kill Lally, while De Saxe was another great shortliving and put french troops slightly back.

nice fleet losses - 613+124 warships for Spain = 737 (galleys were disbanded to be replaced, and 43 were just to invite Sweden fleet :) )
3 naval evil-bangers: 1284 warships and 1626 galleys :D

Slarg, remember first naval battle near Gascoigne ?
around 800 warships from me with 4-4-4 leader and around 900 ships at your side with better leader (around 300 are warships). For 3 days i lost 100 warships, you almost nothing :) That was my home waters. Next battle you intercepted me, and despite i won, i got big losses - 200 ships more.

I destroyed you all separately, sailing around the world. No way i could destroy you if even 2 of you acted united :) So shame on you ;)

Well that much is true.

We almost caught you in a trap though, with a total of 900 galleys and 400 warships which would've annihilated you.

HOWEVER, massive tech advantage allowed you to slip out from the noose while our galleys lumbered into position.

So the talk about "bad cooperation" loses SOME of its power when taking this into consideration. ;)

I just sent around 50 warships near Andalussia for Med seaway and found your 300 galleys there :) Then noticed English fleet near Vandee and converted the loss to the global victory by beating all fleets by parts :)

bad cooperation always happenes at very fast hightech navals. But this time the ratio is too impressive because normally at hightech your task is only to catch fleet of the enemy by bigger yours. Ending in big stacks, and someone block other.

Meaning cooperation - if Sachsen would move to Italy after beating you for a while (and finally losing when intercepting, so gave 2 provs out) he could easily solved all achievements, which France could get for around 3-5 years with De Saxe (4-5-6) and Lally (4-4-5). After that he could return to north germany without much danger :)
Btw, it`s strange, De Saxe lives until 1750, but i didn`t see him after around 1746 at least.

btw, at the end 70 galleys of good admiral of french (near NT40 vs NT43) at home waters kicked 70 warships of Spain with around 3-4-3 or 4-3-4 admiral without much efforts twice :)

So i brought Cordoba 5-5-5 with 214 warships to attack them and cut down greatly before he retreats to port. Almost killed, but around 20 galleys with leader were retreated :-(

Had I sent Sachsen down south, then Slargos could have had his wicked way with me. It was taking all I had to keep back the Swedish tide.

Something tells me the lack of an OE player was the big problem :D

Russia has no purpose in this game if I can only fight Sweden fairly and when that Sweden has to fight elsewhere 80% of the time.

A shame, because I loved the country and loved fighting with Slargos. Loved to wait for Suvorov to throw him at Sweden to vassalise it. But eh.

Okay then, just for fun lets list a couple of things shall we?

France Owns Holland, Lombardi, has a Rhine Border, Has substancial and extremely wealthly Overseas holdings.

This is a fact.

Austria did in fact declare war a lot of the time.

This is a fact.

In the early years, Austria went it alone, using what ever she could the first time (Leaders, CrT) to win.

This is a fact.

Austria lost. She lost Beligum, Lux and Koln, all on her own.

Once again another fact.

Becomes obvious to All that Austria just can't beat France. Spain, as our main friend (Tonio had sent a lot of money) is looked to as the power that can influence things.

The Habsburg wars begin. Drake does very well, often wins. Sometimes it's a WP, sometimes (like last session) He manages to surrender a single province (Genoa) but stops the Alliance from beating him. Some times he does even better and mages to take Holland from Austria.

A fact if ever there was one.

This session, Austria takes Geldre and Frisen, you take them back with your alliance. Nothing wrong with that.

What was wrong though was threating to quit over Fal joining. Grow up man! People fight uneven wars all the time. And Fal had said he would only fight France. And do you know how far it was for him to walk to where he could do any good?

Austria redeclares war a year later. As far as I know, you can do that, nobody ever said that you can't... I don't know, it's no worse then Using the Pirate spamming for troops joining a fleet

As for Austria threating to quit, I was pissed over The OE situation, but I would not have done so. I made a commitment to play till the end and I will do so.

Hehe, you're just so wrong Slargos.
I'm defenetly not afriad of quitting this game or any game for that matter if i have a valid reason for it.
I thought you if any would know that Slarg...

But i agree that i have been unable to play much lately, as i had to move out from my flat today because someone else is moving in tomorrow

Did cannon Fodder show up today btw?

As the OE is declered "open" after slargos has not even talked to me about the reason of my absence i have no desire to participate in this game.
Despite that i got myself a sub with instructions Slargos inofficialy kick me from the game. :(
