Well, I started as a random vnetter. So I think it can be helpful not being that rude to them.

Anyway, if there will be inflation reduction for one country, it should be to all. Although I think there should be no inflation reduction. As Drake said, we used the money after all and if we decided to mint, well we should accept the consequences.

Because properly handled, they can become perfectly good members of the forum, quite reliable as players in MP games organized through the forum, and will help replace the dwindling supply of regulars who either go off and play other games, get banned, or lose interest and are never heard from again. Whereas being rude to them accomplishes nothing except feeding an ego.

Perhaps you should post private messages to Hive then through PM, eh?

A smiley could have been the minimum requirement for us non-participiating readers to understand it is joke, wouldn't you agree? You know, there are many slow people like me who don't get a joke unless they are told it is a joke As it is, your message came out as a rude complaint against any people who ever might have been or might consider looking for a game through V-Net.

Since OE and Russia would be given Latin to make up for Morocco having Latin, you wouldn't get one iota of boosting, HoG. Which means we could just aswell bump you to Orthodox and get rid of all the hazzle of "if my neighbour gets this, I want that".

By the way, I'm not sure if I'll be able to play this coming sunday. Haven't gotten my internet connection back yet. I'm going to be online from thursday however so I'll be able to go subhunting then. I'm going to test the office computers to see if I can play from there but I'm not optimistic. They are BOUND to have a firewall that I can't touch.

If you bothered to look around, you'd see I do much more on this forum, and even in this particular thread, than just criticize. Might want to save barbs like that for those to whom they apply.

We weren't "exchanging PMs in public". We were discussing an incident that happened during this game, for which this thread exist. Why should Fred have to go through all sorts of lengths to explain inside stuff to outsiders who insists on giving their un-requested opinion on matters where they don't know the full background story?

You are welcome to sub my Russia for 2 sessions

Instructions:

- Badboy is quite high now, so don't expand much more against AI.
- Try to colonise as much as you can, but use census tech for it. Keep inflation down. Basically send settlers when the new year starts
- Use your money for soldiers and settlers. Perhaps a few manufactories. Don't waste it on other stuff like monthly costs of troops. Empty your cash in january/february.
- You have 2 loans AFAIK, be aware!
- try to reach infra 5 as soon as possible, but prevent neighbours from getting a CRT on you.
- Vassalise and diplo annex Georgia when you can.
- DP sliders: max aristo, go offensive, stay quantity. The other sliders are fine for now.

When in doubt about foreign affairs, ask Tonio or even Slargos what to do. Don't trust anyone else. Keep an eye on the sultan. Protect Crimea.
