Why do people always assume I'm a spy.
I trust this team, the only way we can fail is if you are a spy, which I hope isn't the case.
Approve
In answer to your first question, because you rejected two teams (MC-Ironhead-Ironhide, Ironhead-Audren-Aedan) on mission set 1 for little to no reason (your "newb senses" for MC's mission, no reason for Ironhead's mission, and then approved a team with 1 only other member on it (Falc-Aedan-Ironhead), proposed by someone who didn't put himself on the team, for little to no reason. Since Health was the proposer, and Falc was the extra man on the team, that would seem to indicate that you know either Health or Falc was a spy. Also, why exactly are you suspicious of Ironhead? What has he done (relative to the rest of us, anyway) that would make him particularly suspicious? His play with the In the Spotlight card (in the light blue type, hoping to catch Aedan off guard) seemed clever to me, actually, and makes me more likely to believe him than otherwise.
In answer to your second statement: From your standpoint, Ironhide could be a spy, and might very well have lied about me (making us both spies), or even told the truth about me to make me trust him so I would support future missions with him on it. (Even I am worried about the latter possibility; however, his voting record suggests that he is a villager, albeit a fairly selfish one who will only approve a team if he is on it.) The In the Spotlight card is publicly played, so I doubt Ironhead would lie about that card, as the rulebook says that the card would normally be played publicly. Still, Aedan could very possibly be a spy who held a sabotage order if there were another spy on the mission, which I find plausible, as madchemist tripped my radar early and Audren is by no means cleared. Granted, I don't find aedan being a spy particularly likely (his claim early game about being resistance and the resistance "having a chance" seems oddly in character for him), but plausible.
From my standpoint, I'm not quite as sure as others seem to be that you're a spy, as you are fairly new to this game. But I see little reason to mistrust Ironhead - both madchemist and Luft strike me as far more suspicious possible rejects on turn 1, as madchemist has been on both failed teams (which you rightly called out, his handwaving to the contrary) and Luft proposed the mission that ended in turn 1 failure. And your odd vote patterns on day 1 make me not want you on this team.
Ironhide, I really, really wish you had made Ironhead the 4th member of the team instead of Jerman. Even if my mission is approved, madchemist gets the cards next round, and I am still leery of him. Your proposal isn't the worst possible team, but I'm next proposer, I trust my teambuilding skills, and I am going to...
REJECT
Also, the next person who claims that they are stupid as an excuse for any bad votes/proposals will get first-day hunted/lynched/auto-rejected in any future WW/Resistance games, just to make a point. Stupid people don't come and play these kinds of games. Yes, there is a learning curve, but no, you are not idiots. And it really, really bugs me that people use supposed stupidity as an excuse for bad analysis. [end rant]
