What makes him likely to be a spy?

Perhaps you are a spy and he is resistance. But since you offer no indication of why you think that way about him, you leave it as a "he said, she said."

I've explained already why I think he is, unfortunately some of it's on the other forum.

Also Falc and Madchemist sure spent a lot of time and posts talking through who to give the card and how to use it, only to use it in the way they were leaning towards from the beginning. Sure that seems like a good thing to do, but that's exactly what I do as a spy, getting others opinions on card use, while pushing my prefered method, to both get what I want and get credit from the resistance.

Then-
Madchemist- I'm not sure I follow your argument at all here. It feels to me like you're casting unnecessary suspicions for wholly spurious reasons. Giving the card to someone on the mission made the most sense, and checking Ironhead was a reasonable choice and had been my first inclination; the fact that I was considering that course of action in advance and that it played out that way doesn't seem weird to me at all.

Me- I'm not saying you're suspicious for considering a course of action and playing it out, I'm saying you're suspicious for asking around from players for opinions part way through the process. It's a tactic I commonly use as a spy to get trust as someone who takes in input, but without really giving up control. Also gives the ability to shift blame if things go wrong.

And that's why Madchemist is a likely spy. Not just a random thing I'm saying.

IRONHEAD
MADCHEMIST
DAFFIUS

APPROVE!

Interesting. I'm on it, which is good, and Ironhead is on it, and he's very likely to be Resistance at this point, since he's only a spy if Falc is as well (and I think if they were both spies, accusing Ironhead would have made a lot more sense for him to do). Only question is Daffius, then.

So let's see. First thing is that at least one of Cliges and Falc must be a spy. Both of them being spies is... possible, but still seems unlikely, since there's still a question of how they would decide which would sabotage on the last mission. For now, I'll assume they aren't both spies (I realize it's still possible, since Cliges had the opportunity to propose that fifth mission, and as Ironhead mentioned before, there's sort of a tacit agreement that the proposer gets to sabotage if he picks a multi-spy team). If that's right, then leaving both of them off leaves us no margin for error; Daffius must be the remaining Resistance member for this team to work, which would require the spies to be tamius, aedan, and one of Cliges or Falc.

So, the question is, does a tamius/aedan/Cliges or Falc spy team make sense?

Tamius and aedan haven't gotten to make too many proposals, so there's not a ton to go on there. But they have avoided putting each other on teams so far. There's nothing else really of note in their voting patterns, so that spy team is at least consistent with our current information.

The question is, do I consider that team likely enough to approve, or at least worth taking a chance on?

And that answer is... maybe. Aedan definitely feels like a spy to me, because he's accusing me of being a spy based on arguments that don't really have any basis in logic. So is tamius vs. Daffius worth trying?

Still don't know. Part of me is worried that Daffius is a spy trying to get on my good side, while part of me is hoping he might have gotten a good read on me and can actually tell I'm Resistance.

I'll give it a shot. Still think Falc+Ironhead+MC or Cliges+Ironhead+MC is a bit safer, but this is about as good a mission as I expect to be proposed at this point anyway.

Approve

Cliges is 100% guaranteed to be spy. Even if Falc is also a spy, Falc had no reason to choose a Resistance member as his partner for the 1st mission; he had much more to gain by choosing a fellow spy, especially since we had no choice but to accept his proposal.

Why have we already lost if Falc is a Spy? All we have to do is not include him on any teams.

Spies know that a Resistance member who cannot change his vote has rejected this team (me). So they can get this team rejected.

Then we go to the fifth proposal of the round, and it doesn't matter what I propose because Falc has a No Confidence. If he is a spy, five rejected missions, game over.

EDIT: I managed to confuse myself with the two NCs around in the game. The one in play is held by you, Ironhead, so logically it is you who is cleared.

Which makes my team selection for the next mission harder.

Only way we can keep going is if you, Falc, are the spy from Mission 2 and everyone else on it is clear.

Mwell, IH just made the third proposal, which looks like it's defeated 3 to 4.

Then comes your proposal. We should all approve that. However, I would really recommend IH uses his NC on it. Either it is nuked, and we accept Daffius' proposal, or Cliges steals the card in which case it ends up approved. Either way we're in mission 4 and we haven't lost yet.
