The trigger for the Alliance would be a set date, like July 1st 1936, where Xian has almost certainly already happened and the Japanese invasion has not.
The trigger for the Mexico bribe would be offset after CSA and Japan are at war, or even earlier on a set date maybe late in 1936. And yes a third option for not pushing would be good. Or if you want war in any case with Mexico.
The trigger for the takeover would be the formation of that alliance. The best slider set would be right enough to make them fascist but not national socialist. They would keep their open society, free market settings. Also they become more interventionalist. The "if refused" refers to the next event on elections. The CSA had a new election every 6 years beginning in 1861. The first in this game would be in 1939 and again in 1945. The mod I put up the other day is not working really well. It does not have the CSA minister file in it yet and dling it the way I had to put it up is a problem. I should get this resolved in the next few days with the file and an easier download.

The last would give the CSA claims in the Carribean Islands and Belize and Brazil a claim on the Guyanas. When these islands are all taken, if they are not at war with Germany, France, UK, and the Netherlands agree to hand them over. The peace event would be that the UK mantains control of the canal. The UK woild give up this war because the U.S. would not really oppose their removal from this hemisphere and the UK really could not win if they lost all their bases. The fall of Cuba woudl be a condition for CSA defeat.
The last thing was the peace event to end the Cariibean war I jsut refered to. You know how stubborn the UK AI is. To get them to give up Jamainca you would have to sack London, and everything else in their empire. An event fixes this.
