At present, the game setting allows the player to construct three canals with huge amount of money and monarch points. However, after the construction is completed, ALL the countries are allowed to pass through, which gives conveniences to rivals or even enemies. In reality, wars over the controlling right of Suez canal, for example, took place several times in the history, and the owner of that canal can not only restrict certain countries' ships from passing through, and can also obtain commercial profits, diplomatic advantages and prestige. I hope these concerns can be shown in the game and this suggestion be considered by you. I believe more player have similar views.
