Backstory:
In late 768, a man rose up among many members of a Hellenic cult based in Malta. The chaos of the past several decades had stirred up civic and religious unrest. This man, by the name of Pompeius Deorum, wished fervently to restore the Roman Empire. On November 12, 768 he landed 1000 men in Orvieto, quickly overpowering and capturing Alcide de Callaris, the count of Orvieto. He quickly surrendered, and on January 1, 769 Pompeius became the Legatus of Orvieto, further increasing civil unrest. Pompeius' denounciation of the followers of Abraham followed that very day.

Stats: 1.5k troops, around 100 in most abilities, and just about every trait I like.

Misc. Info: "Deorum" is latin for "of the gods" (to justify my making him absolutely amazing, I will call him a demigod)

Chapter I: The The Fall of Abraham

Not completed yet. Plan to complete sometime next weekend.

On January 1, 769, the people as a whole realized that Abraham and his various descendants had been wrong. This set the world on fire. Later historians would christen this day as the "Pagan Revolution", as many lands converted to various religions, with only a few infidels remaining scattered throughout the world. The Pope in Rome declared that the souls of all former Catholics would burn in hell. Pompeius Deorum realized that now was the time to strike. the force he had taken Orvieto with was ordered to march to Rome, with him as it's head. On January 4, Pompeius sent a messenger ahead to let the Pope know that Rome was being returned to it's rightful owner, the True Romans, as opposed to the false Catholic scum. The Pope did not even have time to call up his levies before the first Orvietan forces arrived.

The Orvietan army then assumed a siege. By July 11 of that year, the Pope, now on the run, sent a message to the Orvietan army. They wished to surrender.
The next few months were rather unremarkable, with Pompeius declaring himself the legatus augusti of Romae, or Latium, and the Legata, Matrona, dying.
