I admit, before the next big expansions I usually lay off the EU4, but for the few weeks after a new DLC I no longer have spare time. I usually play a few games to completion and then wait for the next DLC because I figure I might as well wait for the new features.
So. You pretty much never play EU4?Before the DLC, I hold to start campaigns with new features; after the release, I hold until the major bugs are fixed...
Damn it! Why does paradox support the game so well? If only they released a game and left it alone to die slowly, I could be playing Eu4 vanilla right now as god intended.
Here's why i can't agree with letting the development only in the dlc.1.12 and 1.8 are really the only patches where I've been unable to play the public version. In 1.8 it was mainly because of the map, in 1.12 it's because I just can't go back to the old building/fort system. Otherwise I generally keep playing the live version right up to the release.
