Trying to make a decision on whether to continue my England 1.8 play through - which other nations have good odds of female heirs? I know Castile, wasn't sure if there were any others. (Already gotten the only achievement I'm likely to this run otherwise, and I'd like to be doing something more productive than letting it run on speed 5 hoping for a female heir).

I've gotten a few Theodoras as Byzantium, and I know Austria has them, though not of their odds.
Austria gets the pragmatic sanction in most games. I often get long lines of successive Theodoras as Byzantium, too.
The ruler name file for every nation has the odds of a given monarch name. Byz is top 1 because they have 3 different female names (Zoe, Theodora, sthing else) and Spain also has a very likely Isabel.
That's an understatement, I've gotten 5 female rulers in a row. And in the ruler history there was more female rulers than male rulers.
Definitely Castile, since you are asking for which castle...
