I uploaded a version for testing until the hotfix is out.
I was thinking, if i am not mistaken the hotfix is all ready out

Figured I'd make a thread for this so that more people see it.
As of yesterday's patch, Nobles and Holy Men created by decisions (but not Débutantes) have base stats of 0 instead of random base stats. I stumbled into a quick fix that i wanted to share.
The issue seems age-related (The débutante has a age =17 line that prevented her from being affected), probably related to the new code for the Ruler designer DLC.
If you go to the decision subfolder and edit employment_decisions.txt to add an "Age = XYZ" line to the effect blocs of employ_steward and employ_priest parts of the file, just like the débutante has " Age = 17", your random nobles will get random stats once again. I havent tested in-depth to see if the age you choose has an effect on stats quality, but at first glance it doesn't appear to.
I recommend doing this because ForzaA said itll only be fixed in a future patch.
Have a good day!
Ignore thatI was being an idiot with the changes to the multiplayer screen in the patch

Again, great mod![]()
Very very cool. A couple of issues (I have not really tried to play as I don't have the time):
- The game seems to crash at starting dates that are after, say, 1240 (more or less). The 1337 scenario is inaccessible to me.
- I had not tried it before, but muslims are rather unplayable due to the chronic lack of marriage matches.
- There is something weird in the loading screen / history files, for instance if I select Milan I can read beside the mouse "Count Alberto Azzo of Lombardy"; but actually that county is in the hands of a lord mayor. Count Alberto Azzo actually owns two counties to the east of Milan (nice historical work, by the way).
- Why Sicily is not part of any de jure empire? Maybe it can be allowed to switch from the Byzantine Empire to the HRE at some point messing with the history files and the de_jure line. I don't know about Iceland. As I told to idib already, I do favor however the presence of only two de jure empires - ERE and HRE - and use the new assimilation mechanics to allow better/faster de jure expansion of kingdoms in culturally contiguous areas only. It would also be cool to make the constituent kingdoms of empires dynamic.
Wow, that fast certianly fast!
Thank you!
P.S. - As far as I recall, if at the game's start one wouldn't click on Tuscany, Matilda looked quite nicely.Regretfully, after version 2.8 in every game she was killed within a few months by the emperor and her lands succeeded by him. Pity.

Have you seen this:
Can anyone tell me if that's a problem in the mod or not?
Just tested it with your mod, and yes unfortunatley it is present here also.
Realy not a surprise, as it is reported to happen to ANY RANDOM GENERATED caracter
Is one in 1204? I was getting one of those using 2.6 as Scotland.I get CTD on specific dates, repeatedly. Tried with different starting positions.
+1 Same with meYeah I have this freezing thing too, after a few months of playing, years at best (couldn't go further than 1071). I can still move the mouse but everything else is frozen, I have to Ctrl-Alt-Del to exit the game. I checked the vanilla it doesn't seem to have this problem
Seems like a great mod anyway, hope you won't have too much work with the hotfixes/new patches to come![]()
Could you be so kind to fix it for me? I don't have the game on this computer, but I can upload it as an hotfix![]()
