I want to give this a try, but I don't know how mods work... Will this work with patch 1.5 or do you have to spend a few days to adapt it to the new patch?

It depends on how extensive the patch really is.. I've got plenty of free time this week so 1-2 days should be enough to adapt everything, I just have to see if any of the integrated mods will need an update as well, if yes it will take a bit longer but I plan to release 2.9 before the weekend :)

What are your plans about the de jure kingdoms map? Are you going to change it? As I guess you are making a historical accurate mod, I belive that some things are not really fitting your tastes (e.g. Germany, northern France setup). Are you also planning to revise the de jure map of the empires, and the kingdoms de jure map over the starting dates to, say, help Philippe II of France to recover his southern lands?

I think that the main kingdoms and empires will stay as they are now in the mod, I still have to experiment all the things that were changed but I'm positive that the new version will be out tomorrow or maximum on thursday :)
Obviously all suggestions are more than welcome.

Well, looking at the patch notes, it looks like the mod will need a fair amount of updating to get it working. One thing that is very obvious is that the Death Causes mod is now obsolete as they added it in with 1.5. Very patiantly waiting for the update, can't imagine playing without the mod! I say take your time, get it running great and smooth and just all in all great.

With this change [Made the revolters in independence wars start gaining ticking war score, and do so immediately], do you plan on leaving in the civil war modifier everytime some one revolts? Cause i think that might get a little out of hand then, as everytime i've had a single count rebel, unless i crush it within a month i'll usually have near a third to half my country in rebellion. At which point with a ticking war score starting immediately i think you'll rarely see a great kingdom (HRE,France,Byzantium) last more than one or two leaders, as it is France and HRE already seem to fall apart in the first 50-100 years of every game i've played and Byzantium is almost always in a state of constant civil war

How long will it take for a 1.05 compatible version?

I think you should modify the crusades from what you find in 1.05, but not back to 1.04. There is a thread in main, as well as a thread here in mod that both talk about that issue, and looking at those would be interesting. There are some ideas towards, rather than keeping it yourself, which makes little sense, essentially being forced to give it to a landless noble, maybe via event with a huge relational boost...

what about Brittany though? The game now requires a duke to have at least two ducal titles before he can be a king. Does that mean that, while we'll still see an AI king of Wales, a kingdom of Brittany won't possibly exist ?

I'm actually in favour of that.

I can't believe I just spent the whole morning on making the mod 1.5 compatible (just got done) and now they are going out with an hotfix...
Welcome to the real world. One time we spent a whole month setting up a project for a client just to have them change everything at the last second. That was a great weekend... <__<

But in the real world you get paid for it.
