Not to be rude, but given that 1.05 is three days off and I assume it will take roughly a week for the outside-made material to update to the changes and then eventually make its way back here can we have a teeny 2.8b release? Nothing new (unless you think it is ready) but maybe fix the CTDs so I can get my fix during the next week. ;) If not, I am still good with 2.6.

Hmm, may I ask why female rulers can't get coronation events. Ill-chance (although it has turned out very well, in the end...mostly) led me to have a female ruler (all three sons died over the decade of rule) and I found that I can neither host tournmenats, nor be rightfully crowned? Why not?

A monarch is a monarch, and while undoubtedly the coronation of a female monarch might be different in ceremony, such a thing happens (see Sicily for one) so it should be possible. And while I more understand the thing with tournements, just because she can't take part doesn't mean she can't host them. I could imagine my character doing so, perhaps through her husband or such. It should be possible, at least, considering the half-fake culture of courtly love that exists at times: surely a tournment to impress their Queen with the bravery and nobility of the fighting men of the Kingdom wouldn't be all that far fetched, and probably (in real life) would be a good policy, so as to not seem to snub or disregard 'manly' virtues and so on...if that makes sense.

So after having your mod, I'm in love with it. :D As it adds a lot of things I'd rather have, more kingdoms, etc, and does it right, I only have 2 problems, one very minor.

The first thing is, I started as Spartenos dynasty, in Napoli, so i'm Greek. I've made most of my realm ruled by Greek, besides a few courtiers here and there. However I have a new problem. After becomeing '' GreekSicilian '' as the mod calls it in the culture file, people are turning Sicilian in game as I want them to be, but the problem is, now people are turning Arab skin color, and my Despot is now a Sultan, Dukes Emirs, etc, etc. And this is not at all right, as being a Sicilian Orthodox I shouldn't be a Sultan. Anyway to change this? Back to despot?

2. Other thing is, the modded events aren't working right. So I'm not receiving any modded events, just vanilla events. If I read the additions due to this mod, I should have them yeah? If there are, what's my problem, as I can't seem to find it.

Im looking to try your mod, and there are two "elements" that I wondered wether are included or if you have something similar:

First is a minimod that I like very much: Culture Spread Via Ports

Second is a part of the CK2Plus mod:

So I gave the whole 'AI is a drooling moron when it comes to handing out Duke titles' thing some thought, and came up with a partial solution. It's not perfect, but it should at least mitigate the issue. This will be in next version:

The exact priorities for how the AI hands out titles with this event is:
1) Count with their capital in the Duchy.
2) Count with a province in the Duchy.
3) Courtier (if the AI also has a County in the Duchy to hand out).
4) Any vassal with a province in the Duchy.

Inside each priority, the AI also prioritizes relationship, so it will give a Duchy to a Count with the capital in the right place whom it likes over a County with their capital in the right place whom it doesn't like.

The AI will not hand out its last Duke title, and will not hand out the Duke title belonging to its capital. Overall, this means a lot less Thüringia-in-Switzerland and 'Oh, let me just grant you every single Duke title in existance, mr Duke of Silesia'.

Direct vassal screenshot of the HRE after I had the AI create and hand out all the HRE titles that are not created at game start:

I have been playing this mod from its inception, and I love it. I play mp with a friend as Muslims and its fantastic, and he was real anal about Muslim mechanics not working properly, but your mod managed to turn him around. I have one request though; in the next update could you make the Pope an Emperor-level title? I'm pretty sure that's historical, and I'm only asking because I played as Matilda of Tuscany, revolted from the HRE and joined the Pope, only to have to leave his service when I was ready to form Italy. :(

Still going to keep playing your mod regardless as it is the best on out so far, and takes my CK2 experience to another level.

It could be easily done, I'll see what other thinks and if it's a general yes I'll gladly change it for next version :) Also, thanks for the nice words, if you have any other thought on implementing muslim/pagan mechanics please share it :)

Don't want to be pushy but will we see a bug fix update before the days end? Wanted to get some time in without CTD before I go back to work tomorrow.

Sorry guys that I updated the new version so late, I had a beer-pong tournament to win!

Also, on the icelandic culture, I'm sorry if that ticked off some people because they find it unhistorical, I put it mainly because of the new names/flavour it adds, but if anyone proposes an alternative I'll consider it. I don't want the norwegians to declare war on me!

Strange... Sicilian culture should have the same looks as the italian one, so I don't know what's wrong here. I'll check it out and get back to you, also on the events.

I believe I've figured out the problem, but it's an annoying one at best. There's 3 different Sicilian cultures, one Arabic, one Italian, and one Greek. After having a capital province with Mahgreb or something culture for 50+ years, my court's now adopting it, and turning to it, and it messed up my rp in the playthrough. While it's nothing big at all now, as before I didn't see the ArabicSicilian Culture in the files, is there any way we can distinguish between them in game? As it's hard to determine what my liege's culture is, for example, he's caucasian, but he's the Sultan of Sicily.

Not a big deal, as I'm just gonna wait for 1.05 now to come out before i start another playthrough on this mod, but yeah, that's what the problem was for that.

So basically since your capital was arabic instead of becoming greek-sicilian you became arabic-sicilian?

Yeah, but when I looked in the culture files before, I didn't see Arabic Sicilian, so that one was my fault. But the second question, still can't figure out what's wrong.

Are you sure that you aren't getting any of the new events at all? What about the new decisions and that kind of stuff?
