You might want to look William's boats, he starts with indivisible 5~6k troops but only 40 ships, making it impossible to ship them across the strait

Ok I'll take a look at that and try to solve it

EDIT: Problem solved. Tweaked troops so that Harold Godwin defeats Norway @ Stamford Bridge but is then not really able to defeat William at Hastings (or wherever). Fix will be included in next update.

EDIT2: Number of ships was not changed, just number of troops (HG starts with 16k and so does WTC, Norway starts with about 12-13k). WTC has enough ships to get troops across the Channel.

Apart from the fact that assassinations were a favourite of medieval rulers and courtiers, that's not what I meant. I meant the basic assassinate_chance_modifier for the assassinate interaction. For the spamming plot, yeah, that was a problem. And changing the final assassinate_chance interaction in the decision bit would not solve the problem. It would make people still pick to assassinate you or someone else as a plot but failing or succeeding more or less often than normal. It would merely turn plotters into either a bunch of Brutuses and Cassiuses or plotting bunny rabbits. What I was suggesting was reintroducing the kill character plot with a lesser chance that the AI would pick it (unless crazed plotters or lunatics or cruel or anything of the sort) and with a higher required number of conspirators for the max success chance.

I think that's a good, nuanced approach to the problem.

Hi Idib, there's a problem with the casus belli, I've get a claim over Lombardia playing as a catholic count but when I try to declare war to the top liege of the Lombardy count (the Emperor himself) the war ended inconclusively immediately after I press the button, same as it does with the religious CB for pagans if you remember. Thx for the attention.

I think the problem with pagans should be solved, on the other hand I don't really know why this war of yours isn't working properly, did you get the claim normally and then when you declared war it just ended inconclusively or there was something else involved?

Hi Ibi,

have you considered if it's worth modding family relations? Something like adding (+) relations to brothers or grandparents and such instead of leaving it to the very broad "dynasty_relations"? Could be tied to traits (if Brother is Kind, there's ++ in relations, if Brother is Deceitful, no gains, and so on...).
Think this is possible?

Can Norse pagans get a special CB against all other religions for Viking raids? It just lets you declare war and you attack settlements for money, prestige and piety; but you cannot actually expand this way.

I was asking if you can make the Norse pagans a special CB to let them go "a viking", which would allow them to wage war specifically for money, prestige and piety... rather than titles or money and prestige. I was thinking it would give pluses to their vassals because their King was doing what all great vikings do: make life a living hell for everyone else.

(I play pagans in and around the Baltic a lot...)

I was thinking about implementing something like that in one of the next updates, I'll see if anyone has come up with a good casus belli yet, otherwise I'm gonna have to rewrite it.

The "Concordat of Worms" event keeps firing, with no apparent affect. The only option is "it makes no sense for us germans to be involved in this fight."

An update is going to be out soon to fix all the bugs :)
