Doesn't matter. Retailers want the prices set the basically the same (within 5USD) for every game. They have refused games because companies wanted to sell it for less.

Even for expansion packs they often want full retail price of a new game.

I payed a lot more for the WITP (war in the pacific) from Gary Grigsby then a paradox title will ever cost and I would say that this product has an even pool of potential customers then a ultra-hardcore Pacificwar title.

I bought Doomsday and Victoria:Revolutions that way. I got V:R like 2 minutes after it was released. Thats a record for me. Its simply brilliant if you have broadband as it eliminates all the inconviniances involved in purchasing a game outside old-EU/North American markets. Just type in the magic number, your credit card gets charged in dollars(and considering current dollar-euro ratio, thats a nice discount) and you're ready to download everything you need.

No shipping costs, no paying VAT twice, no customs, no custom procedure tariffs, no waiting for the game to go through mail, no waiting for game to get through customs, no wondering what the customs mafia will make up to charge you additionally, no... well a shitload of others stuff that could happen. You pay as much as it says it costs and you get what you wanted. Plain and simple, Gamersgate rocks. At this point its my first choice for how to purchase a new game.

I expect $50, standard price in these lands. If it is $40 then that is fine too. In my mind I wish Paradox could polish and polish unto perfection, but EUIII will be the best either way.
