Mr. President, I once again to not mean to be a bother, but I am David Hensdale, not David Hensdale Hensdale.
It has been a long inaugural day Mr. Secretary, and I am no longer 40, so some mistakes may be made in the umpteenth hour of work.
The oversight has been fixed.
Many thanks, Mr. President. I wish to get it right so all those nations who see a message from David Hensdale will know the supreme words of this magnificent Empire of Liberty are coming to them, and it would be prudent from them to take notice of it.
I am honored to serve as Secretary of War under Mr. Harrison. Although we may not necessarily see eye to eye politically, I am more than happy to serve my nation.
Congratulations to the President, I will be delighted to continue to serve as the Postmaster General.

At the time, some Democratic commentators expected this was to pave the road for securing the party's nomination in 1905.

I have been a conservative my entire political life, and I know some of my ACP brethren might look down upon me for supporting President Harrison. I nonetheless felt the opportunity to work as head of the Volunteers a powerful motivation and a superb epilogue to my career.
I am honored by the President's offer to include me in his distinguished cabinet. I have enjoyed my career in Washington as Secretary of Agriculture and am proud of the service I have been permitted to fulfill to the people of the United States. However in my old age I must regrettably decline the offer.
I intend to retire to Oklahoma, a land I am well acquainted with from my youth, home to a people I admire. To the men and women who have become my friends here in Washington over the past many years, I wish success, prosperity, and, most of all, wisdom and clarity.

Johnson grew up in Illinois and attended the University of Chicago Law School. He practiced law in Chicago and was very highly regarded. He recently became a Senator from Illinois and is a member of the ACP. He supports limited government involvement in the economy and a modest foreign policy. He is opposed to getting involved in European affairs and European ideas such as socialism.

Since Mr. Russell has so politely declined my offer, I must now offer the Department of Industry to someone else.

I shall have to find a man more agriculturally minded, unless Mr. Taggarman believes he can handle the job.
