I may not be one of the 'Titans,' as they are so called, but I am a businessman, and I would also join this suit of yours, Mr. Howard. If the incoming Vice-President wants to run (or ruin) his state's economy, that is his business, but, as I said before, he has no right to use the power of the federal government (which is already overextended) to dictate the businesses; he will either go too far (for free marketers), or not far enough (for full socialists), but regardless he will not accomplish much!

France, at first, remains neutral, not wanting to see either side gain an advantage. This all changes once Russia, angry at the British Empire for stymieing its drive for Middle Eastern dominance, aligns to Germany. This concerns both France and the Ottoman Empire. France almost immediately allies with the British, while the Ottomans at first try to protect itself by trying to work with Germany... until Austria joins the Russo-German alliance. The Ottomans then align with France and Britain (and possibly with the French ally(?) Spain). At this point, Italy becomes a key factor, since she both wants to reclaim territory held by Austria, and expand into Franco-British colonies in Africa. So, once the spark goes off, Italy becomes a kingmaker of sorts... and America could go either side, or remain neutral, depending on the administration...))

My friend, I can appreciate this mythos about the self-made man; it seems fundamentally true as we should believe that all men are equal, however, it is patently false. The truth is that very few men ever achieve this rise from "rags-to-riches". Most people in society remain in the class they were born into, with people more likely to descend, than ascend, the ladder. What will allow each man to display his natural talents and become an innovator is if each man has the equal opportunity of education and experience. The education and experience which the children of the wealthy are born into give them incredible advantages in the realm of success, advantages bestowed solely from birth, not the merit of which the ACP are such advocates.

You, sir, must not know the story of my uncle, Michael Jamous, founder of Jamous-Khur Works and last 2-term President of the United States. He grew up from poverty, with no education, and created one of the largest businesses in this nation from the sweat of his brow. The only reason my cousin is now the acting President of JKW, is because of his many years studying economics in Cambridge and Harvard, so saying these "Titans" are in their position due to previous wealth and social standing is simply absurd and shows how blind the people are to let someone like you continue to plaque our great nation.

I have received a letter from my cousin stating that JKW would like to hire Samuel Lee Davis to defend them in court as well. It is all too obvious that these anti-trust laws will be unconstitutional from the corrupt men writing them.

We find it curious that all the magnates and the monopolists, who aspire to be men of the people and claim to put stock in our democratic system, run not to their legislators but to their lawyers when their entrenched interests are threatened. The President-elect is not yet even in the White House, and already we are showered by allegations of the end of capitalism and the collapse of the American economy. Let us be clear: we do not subscribe to anti-capitalism, but anti-feudalism. Capitalism can only prosper with competition, not when it is strangled by oligarchy. In order to rejuvenate our economy and ensure prosperity for the common man, this archaic order must be dissolved.

By all means, flee with your illegitimate grievances to the court of law. You will find neither solace there nor in the court of public opinion.

I find the assertions of our society being a feudalistic society interesting, considering the mighty ruling classes and aristocracy hated the bourgeoisie in medieval times.

Perhaps there is some accuracy to this: the ruling, aristocratic class of socialistic bureaucrats hate the businessmen and entrepreneurs with such an unwavering intensity. Under your logic, Mr. Maxim, monopolists, businessmen, and advocates of the free-market system are not the imposers of feudalism, you are. So perhaps it would be wise for you to think about what you are saying before you say it, lest you be discovered to be the fool that you are.

You would have to be a fool, Mister Carr, to consider the monopolists to be the petty bourgeois in this comparison, and not the aristocracy. We are not discussing middle-income businessmen and independent entrepreneurs. We are speaking of financial tyrants who stand upon monoliths which dominate the markets, throwing up artificial barriers so that the new men of industry and fledgling entrepreneurs - the real bourgeoisie - are forced from entry and left unable to compete. These are the ruling classes, for they aim to use their wealth to preserve their monopolies and wrest control of government from the American people. These are the feudal remnants.

Once more, we see that the magnates dishonestly frame themselves as commoners, so that they may use the American population to shield their interests, which are anathema to the freedom and prosperity of the common man.
