These coalitions are an insult to proper Democratic action in these United States. To see two Mega-Parties pick up votes like dust busters pick up (erm) dust, is distasteful to the nth degree. And yet, I am torn as I must put my two cents into these political discussions. I see one party who wishes to destroy our economy, and the other who wishes to expand it. I see one party who thinks they know what is best for business, and I see the other abdicate the economy to those who actually understand it.

The answer is clear, I vote for Orleans this election, for prosperity in these United States. Let the politicians make laws, collect votes, and lie, let the businessmen (or women) lead the handles of our economic chariot.

Oh, and introducing Railroad baron William Taggarman, recently elected (or perhaps appointed?) Senator of Texas as a Western/ Liberal politician.

(I suppose its not really that important, unless we want the popular election of senators to be an important topic later on. I mean, we already gave women the right to vote like ten years into this AAR, I think liberalization of politics has gone quicker in this time line.)

(( The main success I got in that area was getting it so that Congressmen could be recalled by a popular referendum I think. Of course I might have just normalized recall on the state level for all the states. I don't remember. ))

Where are those wanting to destroy the power of the Economic Criminals that created a Recession and now hold the economy hostage.
