"Débutant en 1066 (une seule campagne semble prévue)"
Either they misunderstood, or there's just one big campaign planned - which would be a shame, I found that they could've added 1 or 2 other starting points for CK...
Would also imply that the start date is fixed. If so, is the end-date still 1453?
Crusader Kings II permettra de jouer un noble chrétien (duc, comte ou roi)
Same as CK: You play as a Christian Count, Duke or King. Let's hope that they'll really introduce pagans and muslims as playable factions (as well as non-monarchies, though it might be even trickier) in the future developments of the game.
Des barons seront par exemple présents dans les provinces (plus une province est riche, plus nombreux y seront les barons).
Each province will have barons. The wealthier the province, the more numerous the barons.
Makes me wonder if it's basically a revision of the courtiers system, translated with barons here.
I should definitely end my current campaigns and try Vae Victis to see how the system has evolved there.
Spy master has an internal use at long last, and can unmask conspiracies - then the culprit is sent to the dungeon or even executed. That's nice - and is close to what another thread discusses
"Crusader Kings II emploie un système de justification des guerres notamment lorsque l'on revendique un titre ou que l'on désire convertir un territoire à la culture ou la religion différente. Il n'y aura en revanche a priori pas de notion de badboy ou d'infamy dans Crusader Kings II."
So, a casus belli system, based upon claims, or culture or religion conversions as war goals. HTTT/Vicky2 revamped for the CK era.
Though no badboy seems surprising. I wonder how they'll manage the blobbing. I suppose every DOW will cause a loyalty test - or a loyalty drop - for the vassals, with a far bigger drop without a valid casus belli.
"Plus de coopération est également prévue entre les différents croisés."
Nice: cooperation between various crusaders.
Looks tricky to do, but should be a great fun. Possibly like some unofficial alliance between the crusaders?
Anti-Popes that you can create and try to impose after defeating the current Pope sounds great fun, too
