So i have a major problem with my power to where even the support team don't know whats wrong with it.

I made a video showing what i did and the mods i was using are linked below

Demand Master
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=409776678&searchtext=demand+master

Loading Screen Mod
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=667342976&searchtext=loading+screen+mod

Advanced Info Panel
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=781767563&searchtext=advanced+info+panel

The link to the video i made
In the video i did what i normally do when im building cities im new to the game so i mess around but this was my first proper city the game wont even auto save once this happens but what happens is the power just wont connect and disconnects 24/7 this has done it without the mods and I've reinstalled it so many times i don't think any assets will affect this i have come here because if the pro's don't know then i will have to go back to support asking for a refund i have tried everything but nothing works with a guy who appreciates the games he gets with little money and not being able to play and stream them because of things like this is disappointing.

Many Thanks

the power seems to connect ok but it looks like you don't have enough power for the area in the vid. is this area connected to the other area of the city with powerlines?

AvengeHorizon,
In regards to power: In the area in your video, it is not connected to the rest of your city using powerlines.
When you separate your city into different neighborhoods (far-ish apart and not adjacent) you should make sure that every neighborhood is connected to every other neighborhood via powerlines. By doing this, you allow all structures (growables) to share the entire amount of power that you are producing (regardless of where you are producing it).
Your video shows that your total electricity production is higher than your total consumption (which is good), but you are just not getting over to that area.

Another thing in the video, is that I believe that your dam in not producing electricity (yet). When you clicked on it, I believe it says "Power Output = 0." So if you are assuming and relying on it for electricity for this area/neighborhood, then you are in error.

i get that i know how to fix the dam now but the power lines when i connect them they simply just stay inactive they dont do anything i could chuck any building down that makes power and it wont work

Okaaaaay, you obviously don't have a clue what power lines are for. When you bring up the electricity view, you can see a blue area around every structure. That's how far its power connectivity reaches. You need to make sure all the blue areas are connected with power lines to each other and your power plants to distribute electricity throughout your city.

Seriously? Does the image below make it plain enough? Just build power lines where I marked them in red and you should be good.

When you lay down a powerline, you need to make sure that the first one is in the light-blue area to connect to that neighborhood. You obviously need to also make sure that the very opposite end of the powerlines is also in the light-blue area. Otherwise that entire length of powerlines will show as inactive. Double-check this in your city.

You say "I could chuck any building down that makes power and it wont work," but that is not true. In your own video, when you constructed a wind turbine, it did help some of the structures (growables) next to it. It's just that the single wind turbine wasn't producing enough power to support that entire isolated neighborhood.

AvengeHorizon,
Maybe you will better understand how power works in Cities Skylines, if you read this section in Wiki.
This game has it's own Wiki website, and it is quite extensive. Use it when you get into a problem in the future, because it may save you time and headaches.

Here is the link that goes directly to the "Power" section in Wiki ...
