Poland does have rather a lot of cores. We also after much thought shunted the Poles into its own culture group and made Poland the Union Tag for the Polish culture group. This stopped a Poland AI trying to form Czechsolvakia when we put them in with the rest of the West Slavs. The upshot of all this is if you as Krakow can get all the Polish cores then you can form Poland.

Who's else under that union tag? I mean, apart from Krakow...

If I remember reading the DD correctly, Switzerland is the only country in the Swiss culture group, so it's not without precedent. But I'm not sure why Krakow wouldn't immediately become Poland if Poland is the Union of Polish culture and Krakow is the only country in the Polish culture group.

Did i miss something? no one is mocking you, just friendly jests. The info here seems pretty well discussed, and on thie forum as in most when you want a mod you usually have to do it yourself.

Because maybe if you play them right they won't get annexed... maybe because people like myself would like the challenge to lead their nation to glory, same reason anyone else wants to their their lands to victory, because its fun to try

Since Krakow starts in the Austrian sphere, I'd say Austria. Or maybe not - do GPs refrain from annexing countries in their spheres? Would make sense... Will Austria scare away Prussia and Russia from DoW-ing Krakow then?

Great news that at least something was done with Poland this time. My two questions (if dear King is still around there) are:

1) Since Victoria II is supposed to run till 1935 is the period of regaining independence, Versailles, and war with Soviet Russia (1918-1920) somehow augumented to let Poland form more often than not? Or is this matter left only to nationalist rebels?

2) Is the population count at game start different from Victoria 1? Because there were significant mismatches which made Poland really unplayable, even if released from Russia. Here is the map I made at this time:

At the time I posted that it was too late to fix those data in Vicky 1. I hope with Vicky 2 it's much better (judging from the map it allows even to represent borders from 1921 to 1939 and from 1945 onwards).
